Anyway, if their heads were swappable with mms bodies these might be worth getting! Although I doubt they'd be so smart. From what I know normal BQ heads don't work with shinki bodies, so... I also bet these won't have any screwholes or static joints sculpted in.

Well, more merch means more profits and attention (I hope). It just baffles me that while shinkis are selling like hotcaces at Manda and Y!JA for ridiculous prices, Konami refuses to make any new releases to take some of that money to themselves. It's already apparent shinkis are popular enough if they sell so high, so why not make what people really want to buy?

Not saying these won't be awesomely cute and all that though. But how about releasing all these new things, and some good old mms stuff too? *sigh*

Not much info besides the basic announcement yet.

Looks like we'll be seeing Ann, Lene, Hina and Ines in their swimsuits from episode 3 as additions to the Beach Queens line. No date or prototypes yet, there might not be for some time.

Yeah, I'm not really sure what to think about these, but if they look good enough I'll probably get one or two. I really hope they have sculpted joint lines.

I'm still opposed to the idea of statues based on a series that originated as articulated figures. But, I can imagine these will still be nice looking, just not something I'll be able to really care about.

At least Beach Queens statues are affordable.

So, we have a lottery, a Beach Queen line, and yet we still haven't seen anything on any new Shinkis since the start of the anime. I can understand Konami wanting to expand the franchise, but they're not going to do it any favors by stalling the primary line while they do so.

They should at least rerelease the main characters from the anime series. There's more than enough demand and it's very cheap for them to do so.

While I'm likely not going to get any of them, I'm hoping they at least match up with normal MMS in terms of size. We can hack them apart for customization with real SHinkis if they are.
