Well, it's just 1 shinki so far. I have been customizing my Juvisy's armor to a less whitish pink theme.. While my wife was hard at work making some clothes and adapting some budget doll clothes to fit her. I will post pics of the armor after I finish it. For now I just wanted to show off what my wife has been working on..

Congratulations on getting Juvisy! It's sad that I don't see more people giving her (and Zydyra, her wavemate) as much attention as the others. Perhaps once they make their debut in the Busou Shinki Anime, more people will be scrambling for them as well.

Her dress is very lovely. Good luck with finding her some more friends! Shinkis tend to call out to one another and pretty soon...

Thanks for the compliments. I'll be honest, I bought her on a whim for my wife because we both liked the show, (even though I've known about shinkis for a little while..) and because she was really cheap. It's probable she might even be a fake, but if she is, she's a really decent one.

And on her popularity, I agree she is often overlooked along with her wavemate. My wife happens to have soft spot in her heart for plants, so I figured one of these two would be perfect.

BTW, the pink dress was made from scratch, and the one with the yellow bow was a customized store bought..

Now it's just a matter of choosing which ones to get next.. (so many choices..)

I think both Juvisy and Zyrdarya have weird weapon that's why they are not popular.

More of the custom dress and a neat hat we found at a hobby store in a pack of 8 for less than $1. Kinda big, but can't complain!.

I am also still working on finishing her custom "Dark Juvisy" style armor, which will be quite a departure from the happy frilly dress..

Rest assure, there are no fake shinkis that I am aware of. Even the customs are all meant to use the official MMS bodies to begin with. You might want to check out Eukrante and Ianeira, though I believe they might be in higher demand now that the Anime has featured them prominently.

Oh, and I'll take a jab at that caption thingy:

Well that is a relief. I have seen horror stories of figma knockoffs on Ebay, which made me very nervous after already having purchased my shinki. The face was a bit more glossy than I am accustomed to seeing in most shinkis (most look very matte) and that was one of the "warning" signs.. Hopefully it is not a counterfeit.
