Question: Thrusters on top of the Noir Wings, from what suit they are and how did you connect them? IIRC, polycap joint for rail cannons have the hole filled...

I made the original cannons' pegs longer by gluing in sprues from some gunpla runner that matches the original peg's thickness.



Rough drawing I made in a hurry . You cut away half off the side of the peg and match that with the sprue you're gonna glue onto it. No pics since the seam is just barely visible after gluing and sanding.

Push the now longer cannon peg all the way through the wing joint. Now there's a peg sticking out that can accommodate the Air Master Burst wing cannons/thrusters. They have a polycap underneath, making them easy to connect.

Still going strong I see. Every Shinki getting their love. Technically speaking (if this was real), would she be able to wage aquatic warfare? Slice-and-dice!

Nice blade. Wonder how an official Busou Shinki battle would work with all these customs XD.

I got her yesterday...



Xiphos is the very first shinki that I saw in real life the year before (even before I saw Strarf, who I got and named Noir), and it must be fate that I get to have her. She might not be the prettiest shinki, but she more than makes up for it with her bad@$$ looks and awesome gear. I named her Griselda, or Zelda for short.



Her arsenal consists of a sword + sheath, hand axe, crossbow, and a long lance. And she can carry them all at once!



She has a base for the alt chest, helm and vambraces. Too bad that there isn't any places dedicated for her alt bracers and side skirts.

Not really sure about making custom armors for her, 'cause I want to keep her medieval knight theme. There will be repaints, probably with metallic paints on the armor, and to cover up the random sky blue parts on the lance (why sky blue?).

Yeah, it's probably for the best that you keep Xiphos's old armor set...though, if you were to mod her, would Knight Gundam be a good idea?

Five Star Stories kits? They're more mecha than knights, but they do resemble knights.
I'd take a look at Gyan and also the knight ones from Danball Senki.

That would be a good idea, the problem is the Knight Gundam figure is made by Banpresto, not Bandai, so no HG 1/144 kits, and it is already rare. Its gear would look VERY nice indeed...

I have an unused GN-X III lance (I also have an Ahead, but it doesn't have a lance for a weapon), and an HGUC Gyan. Zelda's armor looks much better than Gyan's though. Crossbone Gundam only comes in MG I believe, and unless I'm willing to buy an MG just for the lance, its outta my league.



Danball Senki's Achilles model is a good choice for a shield. I'm getting a 1/144 Master Gundam next month and I'm giving Fuunsaiki to Zelda (Master Gundam and G Gundam can duke it out as much as they want). I plan on doing something like the one I saw on fg-site, image below:



Xiphos with Achilles' shield, repainted, and Fuunsaiki with LBX Achilles mane. Nice.

Five Star Stories kits also look good, but availability is a question (as you know, I don't buy online, just at local hobby stores)...
