I've been wanting to make this thread for a while but does anyone else here collect dolls? Any kinds of dolls? I collect a few different types.

most 'ere are male, i gather. but since they've been into dressing up their automatons.. *Shrugs*

The only dolls I'd collect would be Dollfies (characters only, as doll-like figures, not doll dolls. 1/3 scale FTW!), but I lack the will to burn that much money on a single collectible. I could say "Just one..." but it never happens that way, and when I stop to think I've spent $10000 on Dollfies
Though I'm almost giving in to that "Just one". But not anytime soon

Aw, the pipos animals are darling. I've almost bought one on a few occassions but for some reason I never actually press the buy button. The only animal doll I'll ever want now is this Fennic fox.

Gender's never really been a thing in the doll community I'm in. We have guys and girls so I don't even think about it. XD
(I will admit my fave dollfiie dream dress maker turned out to be a guy though. I was just under the impression he was a sweet lolita for some reason...)

Ah, Dollfie Dreams then. The more anime looking ones? I'd love a Dollfie Dream in the future but lucky old me is only interested in the Mini Dollfie Dreams (1/4) which, while still expensive, are not AS expensive as the 1/3 ones. They match my personal taste more what with their big heads. XD They share the same heads as the 1/3 ones. Just on a smaller body.

I have several dolls myself! I just haven't been photographing them due to lack of areas to photograph in and having a poor camera. Now that I have a nicer camera I'll probably take more, but for now here's my Soom Hati:

I have a few Azone Pure Neemos, but nothing bigger than that. I'd love a Dollfie Dream, or maybe one of Azone's 1/3 scale dolls (I mostly prefer the anime-esque aesthetic), but I just can't justify the cost right now. Maybe if the exchange rate gets back to the level it was at a few years ago, and the economy picks up some, but not at the moment.

I do love my PureNeemos,though. Here's Aika, my latest (and probably last, for now...), with the other two visible in the background:

Ohhh, how I hope the exchange rate evens out soon. For the pound too. I used to be able to guesstimate that if it was $800 it would be roughly £400 which was awesome but now it's closer to £500. '^'

But back to the point! Aika is lovely! Her outfit is absolutely fantastic looking!

Azone 1/6 Konata Sorami from So Ra Wo No To
bought her right after viewing the anime
then purchased extra stuff like a German Kar98 Rifle
also got her a 1/6 German Algemeine SS uniform and Waffen SS Panzer uniform but they are WAY too big for her

so she stays in her original uniform but has the Algemeine SS Officers cap on

I cancelled my Pre-order for Azone 1/3 Black-Raven cause I don't think I'd play with a doll over 15cm, using the money instead to buy a new Japanese DoCoMo phone
happy with paying 50-200$(for 1 piece) for Shinki clothing instead

I have new dollies!
2 I don't have photos of yet as I find it rather hard to take pictures of dolls with fiber wigs (synthetic hair. I like fake fur and mohair my self.) and two that I do have photos of.

This is Sam, an OC I've had for a while. I've had to modify their faceup a little to fit the character and I painted the eyes my self.

This is Kestrel, the doll I've gone through HELL with for a few months now. The post office lost him. Long story short he's here. He's wigless. He's clotheless. He's got me wishing I'd ordered the girls body for him but at least he's here. And his eyes are stunning. And hhhhngggg tan resin.
