So, hey, figure I might as well de-lurk. As you can tell by looking to the left, I'm in the UK, and I've kinda had an interest in Shinkis (plus mecha musume/etc type things in general, and Humikane's art in particular) since the early days, but until recently, my financial sense managed to hold me back from actually buying any (in hindsight, given how exchange rates have gone over the past few years, along with how hard-to-find some of the earlier girls are now, I really wish I'd jumped in sooner...).

All that changed when I happened to see the preorder for Arnval Tempesta pop up on AmiAmi when i was browsing around, looking at what was new. For whatever reason, something about her just called out to me, and I had to have her, so I put in a preorder. And then, I didn't want her to be lonely, so I put in a preorder for the Strarf repaint as well. Then started looking at the older girls, as I'd always liked the look of a lot of them... in the end, I ended up buying/preordering all the newer girls, along with a bunch of the older ones as well. Ebay and Mandarake were scoured, every reputable online store was checked for stock levels of the older stuff, and now, by the time Tempesta shows up, she's going to be 14-15th or so in my collection (not counting EX sets for which I don't have bodies...), depending on how long shipping takes for her and such. I think I may have a problem.

And now i've finally gotten around to registering here.

Also collect a bunch of other stuff, ranging from Gunpla and Robot Damashii, through Revoltech, Figuarts, Figma, Nendos, a few PVCs, and various other random things here and there. Rapidly running out of free shelving.

Well... I'm not that good when it comes to introductions, so, don't be mad at me if I say something really un-funny while I'm trying to tell a joke...
As you can see, my name is Aaron, and usually I add "Reaper" or "Lich" to all my nicknames, yeah, I'm one of those weirdos that almost all the time are dressed in black and listen to unusual music like extreme metal but also I like darkwave and that gothic traumatized music... but I'm friendly, I'm not gonna troll or something...
So... yeah, I'm Mexican, and I'm very proud of that. You know? It's not that hard to get Shinkis here in the Aztec Earth, but it's really expensive, so my collection started very recently and will grow very slow.
Since I have memory, I love toys, specially action figures, but I remember one day, when I was 8, I can't remember why, but I turned ON the TV... and... what's that? giant mechanical animals fighting against each other in the classic empire vs republic war?... Awesome!... and after that... huh? giant mechs fighting...? Oh! that one has a Beam-scythe! that's the most awesome thing I've ever seen!
And just happens that I had a little money, so I went to the local toy store, and I bought a Gundam Deathscythe action figure and a Zoids Model Kit (it was a Stealth Viper). And that's how I started what I like to call "my weird mecha addiction".
So, after that, I played every SRW and Armored Core game I had access to, watched every mecha anime I could, but surely, nothing would prepare to my discovery from some months ago...
I was looking for mech action figures or model kits, customizable, and also a good videogame... and cute girls... well, looks like I was searching shinkis without knowing anything about them!
Wikipedia told me all that I needed to know about them to say "ok... they're a little expensive... but holy harobots! they're just awesome!!!!", so I decided to buy one, just to make sure they're real and I'm not in one of those cruel dreams where you seem to be at least happy and then you find out that everything is fake and wake up.
Zielbellen, oh, man... that little angry-unhappy face, how can't I love it? Dressed in black, purple hair, red eyes, skilled in sword combat... need I say more? I mean, that's exactly why I like shinkis!
Currently, little Zielbellen is lonely, so I ordered a Strarf Lavina, and I can't wait to have her in my hands!
Sadly, I was looking for older waves and... well, some of the shinkis that I really, really want are out of stock everywhere (I can't find Vesperio anywhere!!). So... I'll have to use proxy services in the future to get at least some of them, including the exclusive ones, and some bodies for customs! (I forgot to tell, I love making custom figures, specially when I have to work a lot with sculpey and resin, and soon I hope be able to work with PVC).
My economical situation forbids me to buy a lot of shinkis at the same time, and I'm also into other figure collecting like some figma and revoltech figures, marvel universe and gunpla, and that's why my shinki collection will grow slowly...
So... I think that's all... please forgive my lame english, but hey! it's better than my japanese, my romanian and my norwegian!
I hope to get along with you all, I'll be posting, maybe not every day, but I'll be here, looking for good shinki stuff, since many of you guys are very creative, and I promise to contribute with my stuff... soon!... or someday!

because of that I played Busou shinki Battle Masters
I only have a few Shinkis
but im planning to buy all just waiting for Arnval mk 2 tempesta here in our country :3
I cant buy from somewhere else cuz im underaged(14):3 aaaaannnd
they wont let me borrow their MasterCard :3 or other cards

Konichiwa!

I'm fairly new to shinkis, it was just two days ago that one found her way to me. I learned of them on 4chan, surprisingly not on /toy/ (haha, toys, how childish!) but on /b/, where some fellow named "Turret" also created threads about them. At first I was just intrigued and saved some of the pictures in a folder I called "anime dolls" (unaware of the correct term at that time). And when I recently saw Pomock in another thread, I had to have her. Turret gave me a link to amiami, but they only had her on backorder and I'm more of an instant gratification type of guy. So I logged on to ebay. The rest is history.
Currently I'm also having Kohiru and Merienda on order, and sooner or later I'll probably also get a full armor set. But most of those that I'm interested in are quite expensive and I'm not that crazy ... yet.

hi I'm astarothxi and i just got into shinkis about a month ago and to put it lightly...I'm obsessed. um my favorite shinki is arnval tempesta but unfortunately I haven't been able to purchase one yet, if anybody can tell me where i can order one it would be much appreciated, I'm really excited to join this board and can't wait to start a collection of my own
