Apostle of the Seed
I've got a new Shinki! Well, she's not exactly new, but she's never been open:
MMS Type Seed, Juvisy.
(First one to name the SHMUP reference in this picture gets my eternal respect and a cookie. HINT: Read the post's title)
The Box:
Juvisy is an older model Shinki, so her box is different. For me, it's a little...small. Don't get me wrong, Juvisy's box IS big, it's just a little smaller than I expected.
The box is adorned with pictures of Juvisy, and advertisement for Battle Rondo on the back (Which shows in game footage and actually has Arnval and Strarf), and has an opening flap, showing off Juvisy herself, some armor, and her features. The flap also advertises that she's hight "Quarity" and her armor is "Custamizable". I know I shouldn't be harping on this; I'm sure it was an innocent mistake that nobody caught in time. Still....exactly how many waves had these spelling mistakes?
Juvisy:
Juvisy's designed to be the younger sister of the Plants Planet (Juvisy's fictional designer) wave; she's type "Seed", she's cute (Cuter than Zyrdaria, at least), and her unarmored clothing looks a lot like pajamas or underclothes. I don't exactly get the dark pink crown-thing on her cranium; is it supposed to be a flower or something?
As a large set, Juvisy has a ton of armor parts. Since Juvisy is and older model, she has a few alternate fists and no other extra parts for the base figure; all that isn't shown is the extra spacers and the hands.
Juvisy- Seed Armor:
Juvisy's armored form is impressive; the wings are big and posable, the skirt-things are big and posable, and the whole ensemble reeks of angelic charm. Thing is, the armor doesn't seem very seed-like; it's more like a swan, or a songbird (maybe an albino mockingjay?
)
Juvisy's wings clip on to a connector on her back. The connection is rather sturdy, since the back piece is made of rubber.
The wings, taken off. Juvisy's getup works well by itself, and the hole the backpack tabs into has a small stopper piece to disguise it (not shown, because it's currently in her Extra Parts bag).
Juvisy has only three weapons: your standard futuristic pistol, a watering can saw (?), and a small whip....cactus....thing. For the record, yes, I've heard all the jokes about this thing, and all I will say about it is that I hope it has retractible spikes.
Juvisy is a very good Shinki. She has a few flaws (Like a lack of extra hands) but A ) they're not that noticeable, and B ) she's protected by the Grandfather Clause, anyway. If you can track her down, I recommend getting her.

Congrats on Razz, Kohiru, and Juvisy get! And I'm liking some of the poses you did for Kohiru. Makes me wonder why I never did pose her in some of those poses heh. Nice.

I don't care whether people hate the character, Drift's toy is awesome. By the way, if you want something that would go really well as a member of Baby Razz's band, the Extreme Gundam just came out. Even if you're not into Gundam Models, I think he would go very well with her, you should at least take a look. Also, nice pictures! I'll have to find the time to take some picture of my Shinkis and toys.
