Re: New Member Introductions
Hiya folks!
Another Transformer crossover-fan here, brought to the dark side by TFW photocomics. It was a combination of stories that did it, although I think the tipping point was when SD had his epic Shinki comic-bloodbath and I started stopping by to cheer on the Decepticons. I don't actually own any Shinkis per se, but I do have three custom-made Lego ones in my current photocomic (which are actually representing characters from TSW&F in a rather lengthy crossover arc.)

GOOD!
now that you have fallen to the dark side you better try this: http://busoushinkiworld.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=1064 and get at least one shinki to try for yourself

Cool, the author of Blurry Robot Theater has signed up. Welcome to the site. So are you going to take the plunge and pick up a real shinki? You know you want to...

I won't say I never will, but I kinda' like my Lego ones...they're small, and my comic's mostly done with very small figures. This gives me a way to incorporate the really nifty sci-fi fanon the various Shinki-cult personnel have come up with, which I think is way cooler than Konami's own "Angelic Layer" storyline. They can still do the themed-armor thing, too, which is the coolest thing about the Shinki designs, IMHO. If and when I feature more in the comic, they'll probably be more custom Lego ones.
Still, the designs are neat, so I might pick some up at some point. I always like to try different things.

Re: New Member Introductions
Well I just got into Busou Shinki's from a friend of mine feeding me the sweet poison. I'm quite addicted already. Started playing Battle Rondo a couple of days ago, and put in an order for Valona, Tigris and Tsugaru. My wife is also playing and it looks like Tigris will be hers. Valona is mine, and Tsugaru we're not sure what to do with just yet. I collect figures, especially Figmas, and a few Revoltechs, so when these come it'll be my first experience with Shinki's in figure form. Looking forward to their arrival, taking pictures and reviewing them on my blog as well as playing them in game ^^ So hello everyone!

Re: New Member Introductions
Hi! My name is Robin and I got into Shinkis after coming across some of the older ones in my local comic book store back in the UK. Currently I'm living in Japan on a study abroad year, so I've been taking advantage of having easier access to them than in my own country. I only own four at the moment (only one of which is here in Japan with me) but I have another three preordered, and I'll probably end up picking up a few more over the course of my stay here.
I also collect various anime figures, both scale PVC and action figures, and recently got into doll collecting.

You lucky lucky devil Selidor. You have it easy. WE on the other hand have to wait 2-4 WEEKS to get ours. Curse trans-pacific travel. BTW, welcome to the forums Selidor.
