Oh god, it had to happen. Optimus finishing off Scourge in his heroic sacrifice. Now I hope Scourge really dies, and the otrer one Barricade and Frenzy got too but it looks that they still have part in the story. I want Scourge dead, everyone who reads this comic does, but the story is much likely to revive him back. (So when Arnval awakes, she and every other Shinki can BFG him with extreme prejudice)
And finally, Grimlock and Saber!
But we will have to wait for the next updates to see it happen.

Definitely wasn't expecting an update so soon.
My one complaint is related to the previous update; "Where's Bludgeon? *BANG*" helped to underline the amazing brutality of this chapter, but it seemed too similar to the fate of Ani-Megs, both laid low by a high-caliber shot in the back while dishing out a beatdown with a side of The Reason You Suck.

UPDATE!
Notes:
1. I experimented with some new techniques for fire effects here. in some cases they worked really well, in others not so much. Grimlock's fire sword is a keeper, though.
2. That whole fire-regeneration thing Scourge did? Just to be clear, that's NOT a standard-issue Alt Decepticon ability there. More will be revealed over time.
3. I've been waiting to use that 'What do YOU taste like?' exchange since I BOUGHT Crossovers Venom.

Hmm. An antagonist version of Plot Armor. This has definitely crushed the brief spark of optimism I gained as an audience member when Animated Optimus totaled him. And yes, I was reminded of The Fallen.

3. I love Roadbuster. He's just an awesome little tank of a bot. Hits a landmine, gets sent flying, gets back up, brushes it off, and keeps shooting. He's like the living embodiment of Dakka.
