Re: New Member Introductions
Hello there, i'm kazuki, i bought a shinki recently to see what they where like (i am a fan of the show Gurren Lagann and wanted to see what the body was like to see wheather to buy MMS yoko or Revoltech yoko) and i am totally blown away by it (its Benio by the way) so i looked up more and found this site and it seemed like a pretty awesome place, so i joined. i tend to either write extreamly short posts or stupidly long winded ones, so in conclusion Hi
ps. whats with the weird code thing?
pps. the bit about favourite shinki/mms is it ones you own or out of the ones you've seen (sorry im new to this whole forum business)

Re: New Member Introductions
Hey all!
Just figured that I'd go ahead and introduce myself, since I'm quite new to Busou Shinki
... and to avoid being thought a spambot and kicked out, teehee.
Ironically, I got introduced to this toy line through Mugenbine, having checked out the "moebine" offshoot that's somewhat similar in theme.
I've been collecting robot toys since I was a kid, but I rarely pick up anything representative of an actual human.
For whatever reason, though, the shinki girls appealed to me and I'm now the proud owner of Graffias and Vespelio.
I'm definitely pleased so far, and I can't wait to add a few more to my collection to give them some more friends to play with.
Meanwhile, the two seem to be fairly happy borrowing assorted Transformers, Gundam and Stikfas equipment, although Vespelio complains sometimes about the lack of anything else to wear.
Despite being a girl m'self, I'm apparently completely susceptible to her moe little "please help me" face, so I went ahead and grabbed her a set of Tsugaru equipment in time for Christmas.
Hopefully she'll be happy with it = ^ w ^ =.
Anyways, that's my intro. Nice ta meet'cha!

Are you talking about the code on the scratch off card? That's for the Battle Rondo PC game. I havent used it much, but we have a subforum for that if you're interested.Kazuki wrote:ps. whats with the weird code thing?
We have hopefully got that ironed out.MaidenLili wrote:Just figured that I'd go ahead and introduce myself, since I'm quite new to Busou Shinki

Welcome to the boards Kazuki & MaidenLili.
Kazuki, I think it is funny that many people's first shinki is Benio; including me.
So MaidenLili, being a Mugenbine fan myself, which sets do you focus on? Just the candy sets? the older ones? Just the Moebines?

Wow, thanks for the warm welcomes, everyone!
I'm definitely going to try out Battle Rondo at some point, it looks like a fun diversion. Besides, how could I resist seeing my girls move and hearing them talk? As you can see, y'all needn't worry about my sanity. It's long gone...
oh well, at least I have all these lovely toys to keep me company <3
I'm picking myself up a couple new Busou Shinki for Christmas too... I'll make sure I show them off when they arrive.
Kazuki, you're a Transformers fan, too? I guess I shouldn't be surprised on a board like this, but it's nice to know I'm not the only one here.
In terms of Mugenbine, I've gotten mainly into the candy toy sets - they're like legos for mecha nerds!
I've acquired several of the more recent sets (toushinjuu, genseijuu, kaiseijuu), but the old Mugen Arthur set still eludes me.
I do have the re-released Mugen Pharaoh set in the mail, I'm pretty excited about it. It's such an interesting aesthetic for a robot to carry.
I am thinking about trying out the old MRR sets - probably the Zenonbine, since it seems to be the most self-contained.
Also, HLJ is holding a huge sale, so I'm almost undoubtedly going to pick up the Moebine girls as well. Hopefully they get along with my shinki...
I really don't think I could handle some kind of giant power-armored cat-fight happening on my desk.
No, wait... that might be *exactly* what I need on my desk...

Well, a rather large portion of the members are TF fans. We started out as a thread on TFW2005.
