Image is broken, try again. My buddy manage to get something working while a Russian helped me obtain Renge from a converted Arnval model that I can now mess about with Renge. I have two sources to play around with now that it's awesome.

I'm also amused by the Arnval sword you have going on Halcon. :arnval:

I guess we're going to be the only two keeping this alive trying to stir the pot to see if anybody reacts. I may end up being accidentally obnoxious again.

Mission was a success!

If there's a will, there's a way. I'm happy I was stubborn enough to commission someone to get not just 1, not 2, about about 5 Shinki Renge variations. One being basic, one being A'K version, Hoppu sized A'K Renge, Full combat gear, Scathach with Renge on her head; Trying to build a world to contain a Shinki Renge shrine.

One thing I still fear is that people are still going to hate me to those that found me vile back in January 2017 that I won't be able to be on a positive note with them. Depression is no laughing matter that I had no outlet, thus why I snapped. But yeah, depression aside I'm thankful I managed to keep pushing to get Shinki Renge in a game to see I wasn't the only one trying. Don't try for 1:1 human scale, try for Shinki scale.

I'll be saving these models so I can then use them in 'Rising World'... Still waiting, yes... They will be used when the time is right.

Alright, so...... It seems easier how you can get files from Battle Masters MK 1 & 2, or so my buddy claimed a while back. Battle Rondo is awesome, yet Battle Masters 1 & 2 seems easier to grab accessories from, and that is where I may have gotten the extra weapons one could not get from Battle Rondo. So, if curious, feel free to visit the article below:

I'm back on my blog trying to get back into the swing of things.

-------

Now, with you being able to mount & fly around as avatars I'm now wanting to look into getting the Vic Vipers into the mix. Need to save up first, then I can look into getting Vic Vipers into VRchat to both mount & fly. I'm eventually going to make a world where you should be able to gain public versions of the Busou Shinki avatars so we'll see where that leads. Basic Renge should be first whenever that is tackled.

so uh, thanks to this upload of the battle rondo files that is somehow still active since 2014, me and some friends were able to mess with it's files, and one of them are actually taking their time to reverse engineer the game to make an open source server replacement, and it's showing promising results!

first of all, Battle Rondo is still stuck expecting some data that hasn't been reversed yet, but opening Diorama Studio is now completely possible and it fully works (wich i bet a lot of people is going to be happy for), there's even a english translation that another friend is doing!

you can find the server source code on github here, the github page also has instructions on how to get this setup, keep in mind you need to open the games with the bsnet hook dll for them to work (injector.exe dstudio.exe bsnet_hook.dll)

Image

also, if anyone else is able to contribute to the code that'd be really awesome, since right now it's only one person working on getting battle rondo to boot up and play

PS: thank you random admin for accepting me!! i thought i would never get accepted considering this forum is pretty abandoned recently, but since i got accepted, i'm able to share this with anyone that comes up with this thread on the future, thank you so much!!

EDIT: no news regarding Battle Rondo support in the ShinkiNET server, but a friend has recently made a wiki page that should help get the game and the server setup, alongside a mirror of the game files, you can find it here: https://busoushinki.miraheze.org/wiki/B ... tion_guide, the links for the English patch for diorama studio in that wiki should be up in any moment now

EDIT 2: This is kinda important, we just noticed that the diorama studio version from this upload is outdated, since it's a version from 2009, and the latest one is from 2011.
we realized this when we found studio screenshots from ArcticKitsu from 2011, it included renge and a copyright date of 2011, wich isn't present in our build, if you have a newer build of diorama studio that is from 2011, don't hesitate to contact me on discord (my tag is guitarfreaks), thanks
having the setup file "shinkinet_setup.exe" would also be nice! for archival purposes tho, i doubt that setup file will include the latest version of dstudio, i think
