Thanks for the info on Gabrine. For those that had problems, could you please tell me where the problem area is? I made up a quicky 3 D render of what I can tell of the leg and foot parts. Is it the yellow ball joint that has the problem or the red socket part of the foot? Is this drawing even accurate? Thanks for the input.

Either the socket is too small or the ball is too big.

hmm, is water realy a good thing for this situation? it seems to me that it would seep into the ball joint and be wet in there for a while, eventually drying and also drying out the plastic, if it is the soft plastic i heard it was, do the foot joints realy matter all that much? she has a stand, just dont let her be low enough on it for her feet to come near to the bottom and it will hardly show that her feet arent posed, she is mms small so this plan will work, my 2 mms small merienda and kohiru dont come close to the bottom of the stand unless i take out a few links in it, i have noticed the loose hip joint in almost all my mms3rds however, simply pop the joint off and put on a coat or two of non-acidic clear coat and let it thorohly(spelled wrong probably) dry for a few days to tighten up those joints :schmetterling:

Mine broke where the shaft meets the ball joint. I believe SD's right that the ball joint is too large for the ankle socket. Hence it getting stuck.

I tried Xehn's idea, got the ball joints to move so the feet are straight now. However getting the two pieces to glue together is proving difficult. Crazy Glue takes too long to set. Any suggestions for a fast drying adhesive I could try?

Sorry if I was unclear, but I was wondering if the damage was to the ball joint or to the socket.

Yeah this is what I wanted to know. Thanks DA. Maybe you can use a small, thin piece of metal (like a paperclip) for added structure to attach the ball to the shaft. Or if you can get into the leg (if it disassembles) maybe a small screw can be used to attach the ball to the shaft. I'd really have to look at the leg part to see how it is constructed.

I echo drilling a tiny hole in both pieces and using a paperclip or nail with the head cut off or something to stiffen the joint before gluing.

I echo the call for pinning it. It'll reduce the chance of it snapping off again later. Beyond that, I'd think some sort of epoxy glue might work out better in the long term, but there's a variety of 'quickening' agents for superglue. Those tend to make the join a bit brittle, though. You might want to see if you can find a vise or some other jury rig to hold the two pieces together until the glue sets.

You're welcome. And thank you for the advice. I'm feeling so out of depth with this. I've never been the mechanical type. Fortunately I work next to a model shop and I bet if I ask nicely one of my fellow employees will help me with installing the pegs.

Glad I could help and I hope you get your figure fixed.

Same thing happened to mine, guess I'll throw this set in the spare parts bin. Hopefully I can at least salvage one paw from the second Gabrine I ordered from HLJ when it gets here.
