And now, I think I actually have to read your comic. This should be fun....
Edit: Wow, is Altrene really that short of a Shinki, or is the size difference due to Oorbellen's sneakers?
Welcome aboard!

There are a few factors that make Oorbellen taller than Altrene. The sneakers are the first part. I also have the translucent "spacers" in Oorbellen's thighs, which adds a few millimeters. Also, Oorbellen's head seems a little bit bigger than Altrene's head. Combined, you get a pretty decent height difference.

Got Lirbiete in on Tuesday! Here is my quick review:

I have found that the "backpack" with half the jet on her back is even more unwieldy and out of balance than most of the other Shinki armors. I prefer a much simpler version that gives her that airplane/spaceship feel, but you can still pose her.

Here's a look at the Vic Viper mode:

Mine is a little loose at some of the joints, but is still fairly solid in aircraft mode. The clear plastic bits at the exhaust louvres is a nice touch. I also love some of the very small details they added.

One word of warning: the red plastic they used on the Shinki figure may be prone to stress marks. It doesn't show up as well in the photo, but there is some slight discoloration at the "seam" in her lower leg.

I also noticed that the arms were loose when the gray spacers were installed, so I omitted them. Her hands also seem to be "softer" than previous Shinki hands, and don't spring back to their original shape as easily.

Overall, I'm pleased with Lirbiete. I love the aesthetic of the set, and the Vic Viper portion is fantastic. I just wish they had gone with a better plastic for the red bits on the figure.

The proportions look kind of 'odd' like that, though. Might want to put the legs on anyways.

Considering what happened to Megatron in your comic, I wonder if Starscream shouldn't be worried...

It's been a while since I read Time Shinki, but isn't Starscream kind of....you know.....dead?

I think it looks cute. It makes her look more chibi-fied than she already is. :D

Well, to be fair,

1. So was Megatron

2. It's a comic about time travel. You're thinking far too 3 dimensionally. Hell, the Doctor 'killed' the Daleks and the Time Lords as absolutely as is temporally possible in his universe, and they still keep coming back.

Add to that the fact that Starscream's spark tends to have a way of surviving.

Crap! Now I'm giving away spoilers! I'm going to have to post a Busou Eccleston photo if I keep this up! :)
