Must be nice.
I often envied the peoples in one of the photography related group I joined because they always post street photo from one country to another from their business trip.

Poor Lancamento seemed to have really wanted to see what your home in Florida is like...

Ahh~ Individual cases! So adorable! It looks they're having fun though... in their own ways. ^^;

Yep! Four Shinki really do brighten up the room's atmosphere.
When I took them out of their travel cases I instantly knew bringing all four along was the right decision.

Once I explained to her that Bahrain is an island country so we still may have a chance to go to a beach, she perked right up :strarf:

And a few "room warming" pictures while settling in.

Zel likes to stand watch at night (she is a Zelnogrard after all), but for a "long range" Shinki she sure has a low sensory level.

More lively indeed. They're like cats I tell you! Fubuki was very reluctant to give back the spacebar :fubuki:

I tried experimenting with transparent speech bubbles like in PW's comic shorts viewtopic.php?f=10&t=2113, but couldn't figure it out on Paint or Photoshop.
Going to have to read an instruction manual I guess lol

Taking all four was definitely the right choice. You can't leave some of them behind.

Also, I make my comics on GIMP, where there is an opacity setting for layers (which I set down to about 70%). Each speech bubble is a copy of a rounded rectangle image, which I then recolour and resize. Hope that helps a bit.

Glad Lancamento perked up when told there's a chance you all might go to the beach while staying in Bahrain. And neat pics, as always. =)

I'm alive, but busy. So Busy. 6-7 days a week. I get a day off and zzzz, but I've still snuck in a few Shinki pictures.
And soon some more! A new boss transferred in and we get along really well. Why?
Because we're both really big dorks! Dork = Instant Connection! You know this!
So I will have some time off soon before leaving Bahrain for more Shinki pictures... Finally!

Bahrain Summer 2015

Image
Actually, it has been a very mild summer for Bahrain. Average 105F (40.5C) here. That's really low.
Last week we did have one day at 124F (51.1C)... but normally that is ALL summer! Very lucky this year.

Zel in her element. Such a happy girl.

Construction is everywhere. You can't look in any direction in Manama and not see construction.

Image
Lirubi looking at the edge of civilization. Literally. The desert lies beyond...

Image Image
Lirubi partying at the new boss's flat. Like I said, we dorks get along lol!

Those are some really nice shots. It seems like you're almost sitting at the edge of human civilization (lol).

Congrats on the new development! Having a boss that understands you is such a gift.
