Advice on selling a Light Armor Partio?
I'm trying to sell a Light Armor Ferret Partio (like thisif you're not familiar with it), and I have the original box it came in and all of the separate pieces, but it does have one problem: the stand is broken. The long stick part just snapped in half. It might be possible to fix it with some epoxy, but I don't really know.
Does anyone have any idea if it would still be feasible to sell it? And if so, what a reasonable price on it might be?

Partio is fairly popular and the light armor stands are pretty crappy. I keep seeing her around the $100 range, you could probably try selling her in the $75-$80 range on MFC and get away with it, even with the broken stand.
That's the price point I'd check first.

Aw, you had to say a high price... :/
Mine came with duplicate sad faces and no regular one, hard to find a replacement.

As for the stand problem, I agree with Sonja that the light armor/recent stands are crap; my Raptias' broke and no amount of super glue will keep it together for more than a week or so. Luckily for you, Partio doesn't really need much of a stand, since she's rather lightly-equipped. I would say simply be up-front about the broken stand (post pictures of everything); most people who would buy a Partio likely already have one or two lying around. Also, at the very least, I would include the non-broken parts; they're decently useful.

Using glue for plastic would be much better than normal superglue.
Can't you repair the stand like this ?

Thanks for all of the advice, everyone; sorry I never responded. I could have sworn I was subscribed to get emailed responses to this thread, but I guess not, so I didn't see this until just now. I decided to just sell my Partio as an eBay auction. It's here in case anyone wants to take a look.

Well, I have to be honest with them. I'm not going to tell someone to sell their figure for cheap in this market.Shiaoran wrote:Aw, you had to say a high price... :/

I was just kidding. I do price reminding all the time, specially when I see someone about to purchase something for more than it's worth.
