"Well, here's your training area, as promised."
"This is all... for us?"
"Yep."
"Master, why is this stand so short?"
"Hmm. Temporary shortage of building materials, I guess? I'll make it taller for you later."
Image

"Thank you!"
"T-Thanks..."
Yuki can be shy at times.
Image

"Wow..."
"Hey, can we use this too?"
"Sure, just don't go too crazy, okay? You have some pretty big weapons."
Image

"...now you see why making Yuki hold the target was not a good idea?"
Image

"Nice."
Image

"Well..."
Image

I'd better cheer her up.
Image
"Hey, Kureha, check this out..."'

"Yeah, I know, that bowstring still needs work and I still need to make the arrows, but it's getting there."
"..."
Image

"Master, with this I shall show you my true abilities!"
"I look forward to it. You are an archer after all."

Nice that your shinkis have their own training place now. Though for melee training, maybe you can use a makeshift of a wooden dummy? Just an input though.

Well, this is not exactly a "Christmas tree", but hey, at least it's not a palm tree or something...
Image

Time to open presents...
Image

Let's see what everybody's got:
Image

Image

Image

Image

Of course, they wanted to try everything on right away. Yuki first:
Image

Miko & Miko:
Image

Hmm. That might be a problem...
Image

"Master, why are you laughing?"
Image

Well, I guess it works
Image

It fit Patricia perfectly though.
Image

Then we watched some TV and generally relaxed.

When the evening came Greta snuggled up to her big sister and before I knew it the two were fast asleep.

I picked them up and just as I was about to carry them to their cradles...
Image

...the other two climbed into my hands.
Image

"That's right. I have four Shinkis, don't I?"
Image

Funny how sometimes one's happiness can fit so neatly on the palms of one's hands...
Image

...and this is how our Christmas went. How was yours?

Yeah, I know  I tried, but they weren't coming off nicely so I decided not to mess up the packages.

Yeah. Sometimes happiness comes from very little thing. Like your girls. Same with me, my girls is the source of happiness for me right now. Though I have 5, so maybe it will be a bit tight on my palm (and some of them don't get along with each other, but we are happy being together) :P .

Still, congrats on happy christmas day  .

New Year's Day.

My ninjas wanted to write first calligraphy of the year and I gave them a brush:
Image

"Happy New Year (by Kureha)":
Image

Yuki's next:
Image

"Wishes of Happiness in the New Year (by Yukihana)":
Image

"We won't lose to them!"
Image

G: "Master, give us a brush too!"
me: "You can do calligraphy?"
P: "N-No..."
G: "Give us something we can use!"
me: "Alright."
Image

"Here you go."
Image

Let's just say it was a team effort:
Image

And so:

Happy New Year to all fellow Masters and their Shinkis from me and mine!

Adorable pictures! It seems you had a wonderful Christmas and a very happy New Year :)

Your girls are so crafty! I'm afraid to give any markers and/or things that have ink/paint in them for mine to handle, I can already imagine the mess...
