An Orchis that isnt huge isnt really an Orchis, though. But it'll be cheaper I guess. I think I'll hold off on this one until I see the reviews though. I was fairly dissapointed in the Wing girl
I see they snuck some Shinki news in there too, although it looks like it's just a repeat of stuff we already knew.

Not like that's really the full Orchis though, just Stamen with the BFG, shield, and some of the missiles.

They mainly removed the external compartment armor system. Bandai is obviously still not confident about the interlocking strength of their AGP hardpoints if they had to strip it down by that much.Xehn wrote:Not like that's really the full Orchis though, just Stamen with the BFG, shield, and some of the missiles.
I just wonder where the manipulator claws will be (or whether or not they will still be included). The original Stamen MS had those as a part of it's body, but the same might not hold true for the MS Girl.
I have my misgivings, but I might consider getting Stamen when she's up for pre-order. Orchis is another story though.

My love for Harumi goes THIS far. Accomplished 2012/08/17.

This has a striking resemblance to the Orchis part they created for the GFF line GP03 Stamen:

My guess is that they want to re-use the mold with minimum tool change.

^ this. They've used that particular "stripped down" Orchis before, so this isn't the first time it's been used.

The GFF's Orchis seems to be what they used for the initial concept model prototype.v2gundam wrote:This has a striking resemblance to the Orchis part they created for the GFF line GP03 Stamen:

The final version is even more stripped down (just keeping the mega beam cannon, I-Field generator, and a rack that the beam rifle, bazooka, and shield can attach to), and considerably scaled down (it looks to be about the size of Cecilia's BFG, which is a little over 8" long, whereas the GFF one looks to be at least twice the size, just from eyeballing it):

Re: Armor Girls Project: Infinite Stratos (& Mobile Suit Gir
So that possibly means that the AGP version will simply have optional hardpoints to accommodate the GFF missile pod equipment in much the same way the AGP Wing Gundam can use the RD EW Wing Zero's Wings...
Incidentally, an RD of Wing Zero's TV version got released recently. I wonder if AGP Wing can use those wings as well?
Edit: One of the local shops in my area had it in stock. Checked the hardpoint shape and it's not compatible, which is a crying shame.

Re: Armor Girls Project: Infinite Stratos (& Mobile Suit Gir
Tamashii Web put up a product page for the GP-03S girl the other day, complete with some official pics:

Probably means she'll be up for preorder some time this week.
