What are your Shinkis to you?
I have read things where Shinkis called their owner's master and I have read things where people called their Shinkis their daughters. My question is, what are your Shnkis to you?

Re: What are your Shinkis to you?
in-game wise/Battle Rondo ,Shinkis give you a title that they can call you
Master , Older brother, Older sister , Boss , Rider , King , Husband etc
for me I mostly get my Shinkis in Battle Rondo to call me Older brother
but to me my Shinkis are (insert your country) Born Japanese Dolls which makes them my daughters
however I have seen certain Japanese Shinki owners I've met through twitter call their Shinkis their wives/gfs

Re: What are your Shinkis to you?
since I have a real kid, it doesn't feel right for me to call them daughters. I just call them my shinkis, but they're like extended family or something like that.

I refer to them as my Shinkis, but I often call them "my girls" when I'm talking about them with my family.

Re: What are your Shinkis to you?
Well, you can read my comic to answer that, 'cuz it's complicated.
The short form? They're my roommates. All of my 'collection' is, really. They don't get along all the time, they demand stuff, they don't pay their fair share, and generally they just scowl at me and tell me I need to take more pictures and/or work on the next comic update faster.
Generally, they're like characters in a story in my head, except they have a physical representation. Each one has a personality and a backstory (Usually, but not always comic compatible. For instance, the Strarf Brigade couldn't all exist in the same place/time in the comic, since in the comic some of them are the same person). That's usually what prompts me to buy a figure, if I pick it up and can see a personality there.

Re: What are your Shinkis to you?
very detailed designs of character (and context.)
unnecessarily complex, costly toys. Artistic view to an object which reflects an individual's own interest in what he/she knows to be "appealing".

All my collector figures are collector figures
I'd honestly find it weird if I saw someone calling a figure "mai waifu".
