I had the same problem. I almost couldn't get it because I was being too gentle for fear of breaking anything. It took more force than I would have liked to use.Sonja wrote: I had to use awkward amounts of force to change proxima's chest piece. the second one didn't want to go over her neck)

Re: Wave 15 - Centaur and Tentacles
I actually have some observations on the pegs. Shinki plastic seems reasonably robust to me, although obviously one shouldn't be too rough. I'm pretty sure I've seen advice here a few times to avoid twisting pegs when trying to disconnect them, but honestly I find that it's almost a necessity with some pieces and can help to loosen something that's being tough if you're careful.
In my case, I'd recommend examining the pegs on a given piece before plugging it into anything, and maybe the hole as well. As great as the general quality is on shinki, I find that the pegs in particular sometimes suffer from minute mold tolerance issues and instances of mold flash not being clipped off entirely. It wouldn't be the first time that I had to give a peg a minute trim to make sure that there isn't any flash making the peg thicker than it should be.
I let pieces warm to room temperature before trimming, of course. Nothing more irritating than trimming a piece for being too thick and finding it too thin thereafter.
The other thing might be to try to hold pieces as close to the joint between peg and hole as possible when moving them. The hard plastic for shinki armor seems to be pretty springy, and that means that twisting motion far from the joint tends to distort the part rather than transmit force to the joint.

Re: Wave 15 - Centaur and Tentacles
I hate it when the peg breaks off in the hole! Poor Chosokabe lost one of his sleeves that way. I also hate feeling that I have to handle my toys with so much care. Did you know I've barely moved Maochao and Howling since I got them? That's practically a crime! But part of it is that now they're both presently resting on a row of Manga on my overflowing bookshelf, with Howling sitting up against two and Maochao using a book as a pillow. Also, I really need to get around to buying these two. I am a procrastinator of epic proportions. So, they came with BR codes I presume?

Re: Wave 15 - Centaur and Tentacles
No, unfortunately. =(
I'm actually getting annoyed with the lack of BR codes lately - I used to figure that some of the high price of these figures was to fund the 3D modeling and voice acting required to put them in Battle Rondo! You can't say the same for Battle Masters as all shinkis are paid DLC whereas the BR codes were included 'free' with the figure.
I just feel ripped off with these last two waves. I'd at least like to see the girls in Diorama Studio or something, but no code whatsoever is just sad.

I just opened mine up!
No real flaws with the hair.
I'm pretty happy with both of them.
The only downside was that customs charged me 40 euros...

Mine are looking good. Minor paint problem on Proxima's thigh but otherwise it's all good, and I don't mind. Hair is a wee bit messed up but nothing bad.

No codes? What the hell! I still think I'll get them, but that ticks me off! Of course, it would explain how they've been producing them so rapidly as of late.

Re: Wave 15 - Centaur and Tentacles
as to loosening pegs: it find a peg hole that goes all the way through, then push to peg in and try to remove it, if it wont come out, i push it out with another peg through the other side, this slow loosens them enough that i havent had many problems, except merienda's skirt, that i broke one peg but its not very large and you cant even tell its broke, i didnt even use glue, on my original arnval, the long wing peg broke and then because i have cats and her head roles when not attached, the visor is now broken as well, she is now in a glass box under lock and key for her saftey and so are my other shinki, i see them, but now others cant touch them! (and my raptias is not broken but i could see were you might encounter problems if your not carefull, which is why i loosened her pegs)

Re: Wave 15 - Centaur and Tentacles
Well, I'd love to judge the quality for myself. However my set is currently lost in limbo at the post office. Last tracking update shows they were out for delivery on Tuesday the 2nd, but I received nothing requesting I come to the post office and sign for them. Then a major blizzard blew through the area that night dumping 16 inches of snow and disrupting the postal service's delivery schedule the next day. No one has seen them since.

I'm kinda in a similar situation. Supposedly they left Tokyo airport Feb 3 and they just disappeared off of radar. I don't know where they landed (if at all). Not too worried yet but they did have a friend traveling with them (MP Rodimus) so I hope I get them all soon.
Edit(Feb 7, 2011):
They came today!
