Ok, I have a possibility to buy Raptias cheap. Is it a good choice for the beginning?
I found about Busou Shinki around 2 weeks ago, and since I always like Mecha stuff, I decide that I should start to collect them.
I have only experience with Gunpla.

As we say to everyone new to the line - pick up one you like the look of, not necessarily by the price. Do you like Raptias? Or is it just the price you're looking at?

Pick for the design first, and you can't go wrong!

Well i'm still looking forward to getting them but not having them in BR or DS....i almost feel regretful that I bought them...I love shinki but part of their appeal to me is the personality in the game. Kinda makes me angry. But oh well...they'll still be fun figures.

My set arrived last Thursday. So early Christmas present to myself. :) I haven't had much time to check them over thoroughly, but on quick inspection I've found no problems with either figure.

Man, I love Raptias but I'm SO GLAD I decided to get Artille. She's easily 100x cuter in person. Raptias definitely is the shy but gentle elder sister and Artille isn't too much younger, but what she lacks in height she makes up for in huge amounts of energy. They've quickly shot up my list of favorite girls, they're just so expressive and cheerful.

Fortunately the slight discolor of Raptias' heads isn't as noticeable in person, just like with Black Werkstra. Thank goodness.

I think the head discolor may be a YMMV thing. I haven't opened her box yet but my Raptias looks pretty red in the head. I'll reserve final judgement until I dig her out.

Perhaps she's just shy?

Yeah, it definitely varies. Mine's slightly noticeable in person and barely noticeable in photos.

She's so incredibly cute though.
