Personally, I'm going to go for the high tech fighter look. She's got a tail piece that looks like a nosecone and cockpit.

I'm confused...I preordered altrene on amiami and they told me that payment was due by june sixth yesterday. but i thought she was scheduled for release today. So is she going to be shipped today or june sixth? XD

Also, thanks, NC! After going through that thread (and saving the really awesome ones!) I'm not near as bent out of shape over a lack of "official" alt mode!

amiami usually gives you about a week or so to pay, your order is typically shipped within a day or two of you paying.

Check 4chan too. There was a pretty active thread talking about her, showing off some fanmodes that I havent seen on the 2chan thread. I'd like but 4chan tends to cycle through things faster.

Just bought my first Busou Shinki toy/figure today. Until yesterday that i saw Altrenes at Japan's Sofmap, i only had the slightest knowledge of the BS series. Saw Altrenes and i got interested in the design, so i searched around the net and the lack of reviews for BS figs was particularly disturbing but i chose to buy it the next day anyway out of temptation. What i found in this toy was creativity, aesthetically and functionally. For a series that hasn't garnered much attention, not to mention, Konami's reputation in the toy/fig industry isn't exactly well known, I'm baffled with the level of quality in this fig, not sure if that applies to the other figures as well but I'm pleased with Altrene. I'll be posting some pics in a while, with the official config, don't wanna end up breaking something i don't have a hang on.

Don't worry, with care it's not too easy to break most shinki parts (other parts, on the other hand, are known for being a bit weak). If it's a bendable part, don't bend it too often, for example.

My biggest challenge with Shinkis has been accidently losing parts. Altlene is now coming with a parts box which looks exciting, but I'm thinking of getting a container to store all my other girl's parts in so I can put the huge boxes in storage x.x;

Altlene(got the name wrong in my previous post) in her "compact" mode, as in, without all the full blown stretched out wings and skirt poses. I actually prefer her looking this way, with a "refined", knightly look, if you will. Really liking how the transparent blue stands out from all the white. Take off the transparent blue pieces and its silver painted details underneath, unnecessary but it just comes to show how much effort Konami gave for this one.
