i think busou shinki should sell paint and clay kits for makeing customs....people do it any ways and lots of people would buy it right? i need oppinions so i can sent in a letter petition thing so they will......unless nobody likes the idea....if they did....please tell me that too. remember.........i need oppinions!

I suspect there's not a lot of profit margin to be found in what are, essentially, craft supplies.

yeah that^ it would be like the whole Gundam Markers thing, you would be paying more for what is essentially something you can get at a local hobby/craft store, just with a franchise name strapped on it.

were can i find the right clay to sculpt gear that wont break when used....like the little pegs would crack if they were made of clay

The strongest modelling clay I know of is Games Workshop's "Green Stuff"
once dry, that stuff's even harder than the metal they use, though admittedly, I've never used it for pegs, and it sticks like glue while it's still drying, so getting the pegs the right size might take a little practice and work.

Another thing is it is pretty expensive, and you dont get much in each pack, but then I haven't found anything else like it.

Have you considered trimming down the sprues that come with the kits themselves, or using the connecting pieces that come off the sprues that come with most Shinkis and just setting the clay around them?

how do i paint skin tones though? if i get an all black body and for and arnval or something.....say i wanna paint her an open top and back.......how would i get the skin tone?

i would advise getting a flesh colored naked and painting the black on. you will be using a ton of layers of paint otherwise to get a good flesh color to show up well on black.

thats a lot of paint to waste to layer on over it....and how will i find an exact flesh tone match? if i wanna match strarfs face.....its like imposible without the actual paint they used....like how they painted the skin tone on valona`s body.....

okay when painting flesh for anything you have to make serveal color pallets on a piece of cardbord/ paper and hold up to what you want to copy like her face color, most likely konami used plastics to make any of the flesh parts so unless you can take the head to a paint shop and have them mix you paints for you to get the colors

other wise I suggest breaking down and buying the naked ver. of her and use that, I think she uses the first ver. of the nakeds
