Altlene was designed as the result of a fan contest; the original custom that won the contest was the product of an individual named KEM, and featured armor that split into a bird and a robot

Actually I think it's just to keep the confusion down because otherwise they'd probably need to introduce that 'medium armor' range they were talking about and that's more different classifications than the line needs.

That seems to be the case, yes. At least, no more shinki specifically labelled such, despite fitting the name, like Gabrine and Renge.

While we're on the subject, what wave are the MK. IIs? Or are they "Wave 1 Renewal" Shinkis?

I haven't listed the MkIIs or any of the repaints mostly because they don't have wave numbers or designations- this is true on that wikipedia.jp article, too. Lavina and Tempesta were listed, but had no sort of wave designation.

I've been considering the idea of adding the repaints and such to this list. Does anyone else think it'd be a good idea?

You could add them in their own waves in different sections for each source of the repaints, such as the waves of Konamistyle repaints.
