i tryed stop motion, ia's hand fell off and i had to start again, and the stands in the background look bad, so i also couldnt put it all together so i gave up

I ended up orderin' one.
Even tho im not sure its worth the raise in'cash (what happened to the affordable side of this line??damn), the armor looks so- fun.
(i had to order a transfer tho, AmiAmi can hold my order for sum days right?)

And her skin tone isnt looking too great on my eyes either? isnt it--a bit rosey red? i hope she looks good..

I don't see anything wrong with the skin tone on mine. It's probably more on the peach side of the tone than the ivory of Arnval or Strarf, but it doesn't look in any way unusual. She's a viking girl, and looks the part. She also has a VERY nice face sculpt... maybe not as stern as you'd expect a Valkyrie warrior to be, but definitely an excellent face.

The armor IS fun... and it's good in either mode. It's a bit fiddly in some configurations, especially with how her hair gets in the way (I can't believe I'm saying this, but I miss Arnval's hair joint), but it's greatly improved over some figures and the frustratingly floppy thigh and arm rings.

She would, be the first of the "updated" MMSbody amidst mine (lookin forward to see whats it all about. gettin rid of the rings sounds great to me.).
Do suppose having merely devil and angel types in their "ivory tone" that id find rosey skin tone a bit strange , although i guess i am just not used to it. (somehow, however, the whole paint on the figure is so bright faded, it did descend a bit from how solid the proto paint looked- in some pictures it looks fine, in others not so much-)

I DID thought the hair could be a nuisance, being so long and one piece- i did think it would be nice for it to have a short alternative. or a balljoint that would look GOOD. but ah-well.

an mms nagi(i think thats the right name) would be great to transfer hair with altrene, both are blond and nagi has less armor so the long hair wouldnt be a much of a problem....(no promissess this will work or even be a perfect match but if you have both, may as well try it right?) and i think ill probably only end up getting altines, atleast for now, i just need to get a raise to afford one

So I literally just got my Altlene. There's been enough gushing over how great she is, so i won't repeat any of that here. No, this post is meant to mourn the loss of something very important. The hollow part of the Shinki base no longer has that little cover, effectively killing its use as a parts storage space. There are no words to describe my sorrow.

"But, HP," you say, half-baffled and half encouraging, maybe with a little pat on the back, "they all come with those little boxes that you fawned over in the Kohiru and Merienda thread, so they don't need the base storage anymore."

I know that, but I was really hoping to have the little box in addition to the standard under base storage so that I could donate the little box to a Light Armor set that needs it, like Bright Feather or Harmony Grace. Hell, I might've been able to put both of their spare bits in one... As it stands now, I has a great big sad. However, I plan on quickly getting over it as I continue to explore my awesome Valkyrie of goodness and light.
