Ah geez, and I just performed an in-depth investigation as to why Altrene is not an exclusive :/
But Altines is an exclusive, the Konami site is sure not to hide that. And if you want to put it to logic, she's mostly a repaint of
Altrene, save for the MMS body, and she comes out July, and if I'm not mistaken, one of the Instrument girls should be coming
out then, right?

For those that are pre-ordering Altrene off of Konami Style. She comes with two Bonuses.
A White version of Altine's helmet and an Original Clear File in the design of her box. Those are the pre-order incentives. For those who have no clue what a Clear File is, it's basically a folder that you can slip paper in. That's it.

Well, I was just proven wrong, Altrene's not an exclusive. As much as I'm glad about that, I do have to say something in Konami's defense here.

Busou Shinki is a Japanese line. It's made for the Japanese market, and it's a rather niche market even then. If you're in Japan, being a Konamistyle exclusive isnt really a problem. Additionally, for the most part Konamistyle exclusives are repaints, an even smaller market then the general releases. If there was a market to sell them to the general product through retail, they likely would.

Now, it's entirely possible that they could make a few extra bucks by selling it to us non-Japanese, but there's licensing issues to consider so I suspect they'd lose more money then they'd make by doing so. *shrug* Them's the breaks.

consider that these toys are not meant for the non-Japanese market. Konami does not really care what we think. they tried releasing a few of them outside of Japan a while back, did not do too well iirc.

But I feel that was due to planning more than anything else.

What I thought was interesting was that Altines is in fact a Dengeki exclusive as well...which means Angloz might be able to get their hands on her, as will others (although /toy/ shot me down, but it was mentioned. Dengeki.) . At the same time, I believe the translated page also mentioned it was one per customer....so there is going to be some interesting proxy fights.

Good news to everyone that ordered Altrene from Amiami a day or two ago. The 5050yen Altrene will be coming with the bonus helm from Konami. Doesn't seems like there will be extra file folder thingy.

The bonus helm Altrene order is now stopped until AmiAmi secure the stock. Fans that order the 4899yen version will not get the bonus helm it seems .
