Even though I really like Altines, I cant bring myself to spend that much on a single Shinki. At least not anymore.

Is it really that much better than the recent waves which are half the cost ?

Oh well... I guess thats the price you have to pay as a fan or collector. I was wondering if they do this type of high price exclusive thing with other toys. Right now I only buy Shinkis, and probably for my wallet's sake I should keep it that way.

Probably not. Still, it's the only way to get that specific figure so if you really want her you will shell out the cash regardless.

If you're questioning her value, you probably shouldn't order her. In that case you're better off with a regular release.

Sure. There's exclusive Figmas, Nendoroids, Figuarts. The thing is, the figures themselves are only slightly more expensive than regular releases. The fees of middlemen (the guys who order the figures for you since they're exclusive to Japan) are what really bump the price up. Also shipping.

I got my pre-order in just in the nick of time. Now hopefully Yokatta processes it fast enough.

What happens if they decide to cancel the re-release? do we get refunded?

Not sure what happens if it falls through. I suspect money gets refunded.

Yokatta just posted on their twitter that according to KonamiStyle, Altrene DID NOT meet the minimum number of orders for a restock.

But Altines did.

Indeed. Apparently there just wasn't enough demand for Altlene. Sad, but true. I must admit I contributed to this too...

On the other hand, it means there's still hope for me managing to offload my Altlene + wotan helmet and buying an altines rosa...
