Reposting some of my ideas for a Shinki...>_>

Death Type Tsude

Tsude Ver. 1
Image
Uh... this was my first attempt on designing a shinki...>_> As you can see well.. there is still nothing much to see yet on this on... ^_^

Tsude Ver. 2
Image
I upgraded Tsude into... um a full version Shinki? O_o I wasn't too happy how her left arm looked though... plus I think the sword doesn't look that good in a death type...<_<

Tsude Ver. 3
Image
My current design for Tsude....>_> I still have problems with her design though... I removed her scythe arm and just gave her a scythe...-_- The problem is... can anyone wield a scythe with one arm? T_T I might fix her a bit next time. ^_^

Rebirth/Life Type

I think Rebirth is much better...yes? ^_^

Arahiki
Image
Well since Shinkis usually comes in pair...so this is Tsude's sister Arahiki gave her a light angel motif to balance Tsude's Dark death look. ^_^ I'm pretty happy how this look. ^_^ I drew this the same time with Tsude's 2nd ver. =3 I'm still thinking of replacing her wing design....>_>

Base Bodies

Yoink simple base bodies of Arahiki(left) and Tsude(right)

Designs by Xenosnake ^_^ AKA not Rozen...XD

Maybe for Tsunde have her shields be attached to a back piece, kind of like a protective cape she has moved into guard position? This would free up her other hand for using the Scythe.

Edit: Actually it looks like yo already have it that way, and she has the claw on her other arm, which is why she can't use it to hold the scythe. Maybe have the claw go over her hand instead of her hand inside it? Kind of Like Eukrante's. Then her hand could hold the scythe while the fingers of the claw tap on it menacingly, or something. Or maybe redesign the scythe so that is expected be be wielded by one hand one claw. Not quite show how to go about that... maybe a intricate hellish handle with part of the design breaking out into an easily graspable loop.

@Xerain: Yup the shield is attached to her back it also act as a wing.... ^_^

Hmm... Thank you!! I think I know how redo her scythe I just need to tweak the handle a bit. ^_^

I guess this is as close as I can get in making a type death shinki...-_-

Still need:

Shields... Hmm... I think 1/100 gundam shields will do. I'm not sure how to connect them though...XP

A claw arm... for the death claw. XD

Maybe Ach's leg armors. I already have Ach but I'm not gonna use her. T_T Anyone got a spare? XD

Eukrante's side skirt connector.

A back pack...>_>

And a BFG. XD

There's a few things you can try to get a Gundam Sheild to fit.

Sadly, the pegs on Gundam kits are a little too small to fit Shinki, however, one option is to use epoxy on the current peg to make it wider, and then just file it down to the correct size and shape to fit better.

Another option is to either find a leftover sprue from somewhere and seeing if this is wide enough to use for a peg. Then it's just a case of removing the old peg and attaching the new one. Also most (full set) Shinki come with a sprue of peg things, which would just be a case of filing off one of the pegs and glueing it to the shield. Or filing one of the pegs smaller to fit into a peg hole in the shield if it has one.

The last option (should you feel there's a chance you'll want to give Gundam back his shield), which would probably be the biggest hassle to do unless you find its the situation above, is to rig an adapter of some sort together... Though, don't ask me how you'd go about this other than the above mentioned method which would only work if there's a peg hole in the shield and you have a double ended peg you don't mind filing down.

In any case, it's looking really good! I'm looking forwards to seeing anything else you decide to do with this.
