Re: RP88's future projects
Thanks again, looking forward to seeing that aged wood paintjob!
I'd love to see a grassy surrounding diorama with mossy rocks XD

Re: RP88's future projects
At the moment, I lack the room for any appropriate diorama's and there will be other structures built that will go along with the shrine. I just need to get them on paper.Shiaoran wrote:Thanks again, looking forward to seeing that aged wood paintjob!

Re: RP88's future projects
It's update time and there is a lot to show.
The wood work on the roof wasn't my best but yet again, o one is gonna see it.

As said, no one is gonna see it.

I used some serious industrial glue and tape and cloth pins to hold the roof panels in place as they dried in place.

What then followed was some putty work. THAT was a mess.

My donation box for the shrine.

And the roof is now repainted.

Mia looks at peace in this shot.

A shot from underneath.

And now, the deck has been stained.

A priestess's job is never done.

Until next time.

That's some attention to detail. Very nice looking shrine.
The donation box seems a bit... Well, I guess it's one of those material limitations. Oh, well.

(picks up jaw from floor...AGAIN)
That is work worthy of recognition my friend. That is some amazing talent. The results are becoming just astounding. You are seriously making me want to take the plunge in tiny woodcraft too.. but knowing me it would be a bloody mess of splinters, profanity and hobby knife cuts..
You should post the final product up on some art sites that like miniature stuff. I know deviant art has a category for that. I think it would be well received.

Re: RP88's future projects
What are the roof tiles made of? Is it those realistic parts made of actual clay?
