At the moment I am exploring ways to utilize solidified hot glue to create potentially hilarious Shinki armor.

I have some ideas, but nothing really in the works of an actual full custom Shinki...
Though in the concept stages is a currently unnammed Fox Type.

And I'm in the middle of using an old ruler, some sprues and any other random bits I happen to find to make a sort of riot shield... Will post pictures when it's coming more into shape.

Finished constructing the shield, just needs a lick of paint now.



Edit: Finished the shield, went with a black and white colour sceme for it to match her canon.





Goes supprizingly well with her armour, I think... Especially when she's got the cannon. It just about fits into the claw.

Shame I don't have any varnish to finish it off with, and add protection to the paint... :/
Might look through some of my Zoid/Gundam/Warhammer decals later and see if any will look good on it.

I plan on eventually making a "Masurao" Samurai Type Shinki by using parts from a Gundam 00 Masurao Kit.

Seravee/Seraphim armor also sounds like fun (mostly for the six arm beam saber attack mode)

I'm also currently brainstorming ideas for a Shinki called "The Crowing" using mostly Devil Straf Parts with Wings from a Deathsythe Hell custom, and a helmet made from Waffe Dolphin's, and adding nails as spikes to various parts of the armor.

Since this seems to be the best place to put such a question:

Does anyone know of any resource site or blog or anything that goes into detail on actually doing the painting? I have zero experience putting paint on stuff of this nature. I feel like a high school student in a room full of college professors. I do have a few ideas, but utterly lack the knowledge or tools to implement them.
