Re: Armor Girls Project: Infinite Stratos (& Mobile Suit Gir
The first Shinkis' faces really suck, they're among the worst of the best, which inlcudes the first Revoltechs and some other big name bad quality figures.
Though the AGPs aren't anywhere near that bad, they're pretty good actually. They just don't compare to figma and current Shinkis.

you can change AGP face with figma by using "UHU Patafix" many people do this. But I think you should try to clean it with "Ronsonol lighter fuel". it is butane that will not harm to eye and face of figure. Just a little drop on cotton bud can remove dirty spot.
AGP face is also cute but Bandai has bad quality control for action figure line. I herd from many friend that buy AGP complain about scar, dirty dot. Bandai develop their technology and design for girl action figure since pretty cure, but their quality control never change.
They have joke about this " buy AGP Cecilia is the same as close your eye walking through land mine field" you can't see inside box and if you don't have good luck you will get cecilia with scar.
compare AGP yoshika and Figma

AGP is cute but in detail Figma hair and ears are better

Re: Armor Girls Project: Infinite Stratos (& Mobile Suit Gir
Probably the best thread for it, as they're AGPs in all but name - my Ver.Ka Kyon's Imouto Robo arrived today from Yokatta:

Overall, she's on-par with the other two - the base figure is decent, but not spectacular, while the exoskeleton is fantastic (if fiddly as hell), with joints and moving parts and connections everywhere. The big mecha-scissors can fit on either arm, and even be separated out into two blades, one for each arm, if you want, and the handheld scissors have a nice little holster to hold them that goes on her left hip.
The two orange balls on her right shoulder are actually little camera drones, that can be removed and posed separately if you want (they should fit nicely on a tamashii stage arm, or probably a figma stand arm too). Faces are a little limited - just a big open-mouthed smile, and the winking-and-sticking-tongue-out face.
Posability is pretty good, but can take a lot of work due to the sheer number of moving parts that you have to line up correctly (and the ease of knocking parts out of place while trying to set up some other part).

And after getting that yesterday, my AGP Yoshika showed up in the post this morning. Posted my thoughts over in the SW thread.

Her armor looks a bit fragile, imho. Without her armor, her handpalm sure is BIG
