I managed to get Otoha Sakurano (The White outfit) & Karen Sonomiya (The Brown outfit), but i missed Eika Ichijou (The Blue outfit), so i haev to get Eika from Ebay...

And it's WORTH EVERY PENNY & NICKELS Too bad they don't really fits to Busou Shinkis due to the back, neck, & hip part of Sky Girls MMS are modded with some plastic parts.

Unfortunately, the Sonic Divers for the MMS version doesn't exist. And the only Sonic Divers available is either that comes with a small figurine of those Sky Girls, or the Mode Lock series of Sonic Divers...

Overall, i LOEV Sky Girls *Eika is HAWT!! And yeah, she's my favorite girl in Sky Girls* And the Mecha action is wicked awesome (got the OVA & the complete TV series).

On a side note, i didn't get Ellise & Aisha, because i only want the original trio of Sky Girls

I've only gotten to episode 6, VERY fanservicy *wishes they made an MMS Nanae (SP?)*


right now I'm trying to figure out what scale models I should use for parts to make a Sonic Diver to fit the MMS figures. I figured for the Robot parts a 1/100 Overflag from Gundam 00 would work, a very similar build and it can also Transform, so with modifications (and added airplane parts) it just might work.

here are my 2 figs showing off the weaponry








the girls are cute but dont have the quality of their MMS counterparts (Karen's hair color is wrong!), are 10cm tall and cant stand by themselves unless a miracle happens (or you get something for support), the divers are 20cm tall in robot mode, and a shinki simply doesnt fit in... (not even pomock without looking stupid)


the sonic divers themselves are kinda delicate, you have to be VERY careful when transforming the damned things because the diver parts tends to get loose quite easily, and they come with alternate hands for holding the extra weapons (shown at the base), but i havent bothered to do that yet.


overall the figures are fun, but being that delicate the playability gets reduced a lot...

and yes, springer is supporting the girls....

if you want these as nice display pieces with good details in the robots and dont mind too much about the quality of the girls then yes... BUT if you want them for playability you are wasting money... like i said before these figs are delicate and some joints and parts loosen up quite easily, so is not really worth it if you want to play with them....

besides... these are already as hard to get as the mms skygirls...

the ModeLock divers are almost as small as Eika & Karen if my memory serves me right.... AND lack some of the detail of their bigger counterparts (specially weapons) so when i was looking for these i went big instead of going for the cheaper modelocks.... and i dont regret it

BTW, you don't have a Lancemento and Espadia do you?

From my calculations (which involves very terrible and innaccurate math) this far I'm guessing a Sonic Diver to be about the same size as Heracles.
