Fun fact : I've seen threads about this series on /a/, /m/, /toy/ and /tg/... Dunno about you, but I think that's the first time I've seen a series having been splashed around so many board on 4chan.

Possible bad news: Anime On Demand's simulcast of Busou Shinki, among other anime this season, is being delayed "due to issues outside of our hands by looks of it." (https://twitter.com/animeondemand/statu ... 1719677952) It's likely that those same issues will affect the Anime Network. These issues likely stem from the first episode of To-LOVE-Ru being aired ahead of schedule.

...No one remembered the "darker & edgier" plot talk a few days back?

Lemme say a lil' bit of a speculation:
- In the intro, we saw Euk vs Strarf. Later on, Euk says, she's the 2nd place winner in the tournament. Much later on, there's a MYSTERIOUS black box with (guess who) STRARF! And for God sake, look at the opening scene (particulalry every Strarf's shot).

Believe me, people. i smell plot.

Well you didn't back it up, I did . Of course there'll be plot, this is Busou Shinki we're talking about. Just takes awhile to get to it....

In some places, people were initially ripping at this title, anticipating it to just be a mere toy advertising feature.

They apparently didn't take into account the actual target audience of the shinki figure line.

Needless to say, after just seeing ep 1, they're all eating their harsh words.

Erratum: From my prior post, I mentioned that the starting timeline for BM/MkII was 2036, it was actually 2040.
