Hello everyone, I'm new here and while my posts still need to be approved I'd ask your opinion about something i found on the net: LINK
Seems like this guy used some classic model painting techniques on shinkis, like panel lines or how do wou call it. Maybe i could try something like that...what do you think? Anyone tried this before? What are the best options for a "custom" of this type?

I've pondered about panel lining my Shinkis, but ultimately decided to keep them unmodified. As I see it, panel lining is done to simulate a shadow between huge parts on scale figures. Since Shinkis are 1/1, there's nothing you need to simulate, they are what they are, with parts fitting as they should and with the shadows they should have.

Though panel lines do make stuff look nicer. But only when you do it properly, unlike the guy who panel lined that Eukrante with thick lines :P
As for greeble decals, never cared for them and I think they look horrible on that Eukrante. On Gundams they simulate warning signs and such. On a Shinki they make no sense, unless they're piloted by fleas.
