How to make hands better?

I've noticed that the hands will easily pop out of the peg for being too soft and having a poor design.
Holding weapons in most poses is a chore, and the hand will look weird with the thumb part coming off.

So how do you guys fix these issues? I see pics of Shinkis holding big weapons, but even the smaller ones I have are too big and heavy to pose adequately.
I've never liked this type of hand :P (Also seen on figma. I prefer ones where there's a good wrist joint with a peg going in the hand)

Heating would only make it temporarily softer. I can't see any result from that in this case. Even if this made the wrist "flaps" tighter together, the hand would still be as soft as ever.

Maybe if the hand were removed, a bit of cement applied and let dry on the gap (but not inside the holes) an then reinsert the peg could make it less bendable, since the "flaps" were hardened...

The object of heating (and thus softening) the plastic is to 'reset' it, to eliminate warping that would account for hands coming off of the joint easily.

Ideally, you stick it in hot water to soften it, hold it how you want it, and dunk it in cold water to stiffen it back up... This has worked for me on non-shinki-related soft bits.

I know, but it won't help if the plastic itself is too soft to grab the peg.

Does it work on shinki-related soft bits too?
