Hi I don't have any shinkis yet, but I do have Howling on the way and I thought about this so I was curious. (I haven't ever played Battle Rondo but i have seen videos on it and I noticed you can name your Shinkis on it)Do you rename your Shinkis or do you keep their box name?

I do for most of them. But I still call them by their original names a lot to avoid confusion.

well.
Me, I tend to think of the box name as the module's type- for example; Mono is my "mms Valona type succubus", "valona" being maybe something of the production codename.
However, "Valona" seems indeed unnecessary when the makebelieve franchise means for you to name it- unless if they mean to make more "succubus" types- if so, "Valona" would relate maybe to a certain AI type, or any other particular characteristics.

?

They're model-names for the Shinki themselves, the ARMOR is labelled Devil Succubus, Command Angel, etc.

I only rename shinki if I have repaints/duplicates. 'Kit' is my repainted Partio, while the proto is 'Pre'. My night fighter Asuka is 'Rei', because Asuka's armor is based on a Japanese Zero fighter, and 'rei' = zero. It's purely coincidence she shares hair/eye colors with a certain other Rei.

Just so you know...
  • Strarf = Noir
    Espadia = Kei
    Lancamento = Rui
    Howling = Laika
    Oorbellen = Maya
    Zielbellen = Rina
    Baby Razz = Ayu
Those are my shinki's names.

I don't usually rename any of my figures (But I have to figure out one for my duplicate revoltech Tokugawa) but I do use nicknames, and I tend to use the "Companies" that make the different waves as surnames, albeit with some differences.

The only ones I have more or less renamed are my Angel Strarf Bis and Devil Arnval Tranche.

Angel Strarf Bis is called T+C, which is my nickname since I'm using Angel Strarf Bis as my toy avatar.

Devil Arnval Tranche has renamed herself as Devon, so she's not to be confused by the regular Arnval Tranche.

If I ever get my hands on any other Shinki repaints, as well as the prototypes of Partio and Pomock plus the exclusive versions of Howling and Mao Chao, then I'll rename them. Otherwise, I just call my Shinkis the names they've been given.

120+ Shinkis? no way I can rename em all
however, there's 2 Shinkis which I've named the "Blitzkrieg Sisters"
which is a custom hair painted Murmeltier and Asuka
