yda problems?
hello, i just thought it might be nice to tell you all that my yda's back piece opens while shes standing in it, in her armor mode, the area were she opens and the pillar comes out for veicle mode opens and she sags, and looks strange(any advice to fix it?) and in veicle mode, her shoes drag the ground, her legs dont close enough to lock into the loop that goes around her, just saying before you go and order the extremely expensive yda, (and these problems have been happening since i opened her when she was new)

Hrmm, I've never actually had any problems with Yda. The little sliding lock mechanism in the back keeps her backpack together pretty well and her feet only drag the ground in cycle mode if you're on a rough surface (i.e. carpet or the like). If you're on a smooth countertop they don't seem to touch at all.

Re: yda problems?
hmm, mine draged when pushed softly across our tile floor, and its not the locking piece that switches from bike mode to weapon mode that is pulled out and pushed back in the other way but the piece that the pillar goes on when in bike mode that the pillar folds into in armor mode, it opens, im tempted to put some clearcoat on it and see if that works but i fear it'll peal and scratch up her nice clean paint with the line were it stops if i dont blend it well, overall its just to small to support the weight of her and her giant armsValdor wrote:Hrmm, I've never actually had any problems with Yda. Re: yda problems?
It might help if you took a pic of the piece you're talking about. I can't tell what you mean by "pillar". I've also had no problems with mine with regards to the stability of either mode nor the ground clearance. However, Yda does have very small ground clearance so if the ground's not even by even a few mm then yeah I can see it happening. The question there is how flat your floor tiles are.

Re: yda problems?
ok, i have pics of her but not that piece, i did actually fix her with 2 coats of clear coat so i no longer have the problem, the piece i had the problem with is the back piece and it wouldnt stay shut when in battle mode, the fold in the back piece closest to the top with the pillar that folds out in veicle mode to hold it open, not the pillar but the little nub wouldnt hold the fold together in armor mode, and recently her stand connector for in armor mode doesnt hold well either, do ya see what im sayin kinda?

Re: yda problems?
Not really although I think I know what piece you're referring to with "pillar". I still don't get it though. The backpack parts are so light that the pieces would have to be REALLY loose to have any sag at all. Since there's no way for me to look at your unit, the best explanation I can come up with is a QC problem.

Re: yda problems?
this isnt really a problem, but this is a topic about yda, yda looks alot like mina tepes, im not really a fan of dance in the vampire bund so im not sure if they have similar creators like mao and that one queen's gate girl do, but they do look fairly similar

Re: yda problems?
Designer for Yda and creator of Vampire Bund are completely different people. Same for Mao's creator who hasn't done any character in Queen's Blade so far.
