I thought the Juvisy idea was ripe for more designs ... more futuristic sci-fi plantlife shinkis ?? It sounds like people could get very creative with that.
I just saw "House of Flying Daggers" on DVD, so now I want kung fu shinkis (or at least something based on traditional Chinese fighters)

I feel that they should stick to themes that will sell. I honestly can't see some of the ordinary objects we all use as shinki's. However, what I wouldn't mind is having a shinki in armor that's in armor.
I'd seen something mentioned in this thread about gundam based Shinki's. How about Akitaka Mika's Gundam Girls but more to their style.
