Unless you have to get my dad to order from that site for you, he'll only pay for things through paypal, so it's the only option for me.Xehn wrote:...you don't *have* to use paypal with HLJ...

Well, getting my dad to order Vitulus was easier then I'd hoped. When I directed him towards her order page, I tried to counter the fact she's got large assets by saying I just wanted the parts for my other two Shinki. My dad responed with an ammused face by saying "what parts exactly?" when he saw her breasts, but he still ordered her for me anyways. I figure I should have her by either next week or two weeks from now.

To quote a story from a friend of mine...
"Well, at least you know he likes girls"
Of course, the rest of the story entails "...I have a daughter" so...well.

Re: Which one should I get?
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAnd it's been two weeks, but Vitulus still hasn't shown up. I'm starting to get a little impatient, since it took Tigris only 12 days from shipping to get to my house, and the only real difference between that package and my current package is that Vitulus is coming with an Armored Core weapons kit (just a pair of chainguns and a pistol), which shouldn't really have any weight or bulk enough to cause the shipment itself to cause any delays. I may be starting to overreact a bit, Vitulus and the extra Chain guns are after all only my second order from HLJ, but I fail to see how it could be that two shipments that are almost perfectly identical could have such a difference in travel time.

EMS or SAL?
Shipping isn't all completely automated, either. There are lots of factors involved.

SAL shipping. And yeah, I guess it could be delays with the various shipping services that Vitulus would have to go through that are causing the delays. Of course, I don't know which way Japan would send SAL packages globaly: across the Pacific straight to the U.S. or the longer route across every other continent save Anartica and/or possibly Africa before flying across the Atlantic to the U.S.Xehn wrote:EMS or SAL?

Re: Which one should I get?
SAL shipping varies wildly. For me in the great southern land, a HLJ package via SAL can take anywhere between 5 and 30 days to arrive. A good concrete example is this: I ordered a pile of crap late December and a pile of crap mid January. It all arrived on the same day. Set onto the postal service in japan if you no likeies

Re: Which one should I get?
Seconded. I've had SAL take anything from 1 to 7 weeks.
(Shipping SAL means they keep the package hanging around at the airport until there's space for it on the plane. With our small stuff, that's usually pretty quick, but not always.)
