And I love how Renge seems to be saying "Don't you DARE try anything like THAT with me" as she's pointing at the pinup photo of her on the computer.
*guiltily fidgets with collar*...er...ANYWAY...I discovered something interesting about Renge and Gabrine this morning: their heads are identical in size and shape. This lead them to do some...experimenting.

...poor Partio seems confused and distressed, but, actually, it's not a bad look for either of them (although Gabrine's collar and Renge's hairdo don't get along well).

Breaking out the desktop mini-beach again...I don't know who is more astonished, Partio by the seashells or Renge by the concept of getting sand between her toes.

Meanwhile, Gabrine takes advantage of the couch being empty to chillax.

Interesting little experimenting in swapping parts on Renge and Gabrine.

I absolutely heart the pic of Partio and Renge with the desktop beach! I always view them as BFFs (looks at her Partio and Renge). And Gabrine chillaxing on the couch is cute, too. :schmetterling:

Thanks...the three of them bonded almost instantly, which makes me happy. I was hoping for a sorta group bonding like with the ninjas, since they're all Kemotech models, but between "Officer" Howling's self-proclaimed patrol duties, Pomock's insistence on constantly riding Howling's last nerve, and MaoChao's unexpected language barrier (turns out her language localization was set to "Mexico," so I either let Calamity, my Vitulus techie, crack her open and try to reset it, or I break out my old "Intro to Spanish" textbooks and do it the old-fashioned way), it hasn't QUITE worked out like that.

At the very least, I discovered why Gabrine spends all her time asleep on the couch...turns out she has a night job of sorts:

Behold...INU KAMEN X!

...it was either that or “Fido Rider.” I can go either way really. I really need to get her a scarf now, though...what IS it with my canine Shinkis and their need to fight evil, anyway..?

Of course, if you have a cop and a costumed vigilante running around the same turf, things WILL come to loggerheads...
Image
Cops…they always gotta ruin a costumed crimefighter’s fun, don’t they?

Meanwhile, Renge decided to get in on the tokusatsu fun as well...

...and she will ask you to kindly refrain from making any rude comments about her slobbering T-rexycle, thenkyouveddymuch.

She calls him "Drooly."

That's pretty much how my Partio and Renge bonded... almost instantly. It really wasn't until I started photographing the two together that I realized, "Wow they make great BFFs!" My Gabrine, on the other hand, is kinda anxious when hanging out with Renge, Partio and Partio's sisters -- the rest of the BLADE Shinki (Howling, Mao Chao, Dengeki Hao Ling, Dengeki Mao Chao, Pomock, Proto Partio and Proto Pomock). Don't know why she's like that, though. =/

And awesome pics! Gabrine looks wicked cool on that bike!

So, I won a small bulk lot earlier this month that arrived today with a few treats for my girls, including:
Image
Some nice dresses and jewelry for my lovebird ninjas (although I think I need to take them in a little in the back);

Image
A couple of potential recruits for "Officer" Howling to teach (yeeeaaahhh...I know NOTHING about "Sky Girls" beyond them being designed by the same guy who did the Shinkis and "Strike Witches." Those old oversized '90s G.I.Joe weapons sure look good in their hands, though...);

Image
And some new furniture, which Renge and Gabrine quickly...waitaminnit...

Image
Yeah, Partio notices something's not quite adding up right, either.

Image
Yeah, my son, who also collects Shinkis, managed to get a Renge of his own and brought her over today, and I couldn't resist a little goofing around.

Image
Of course, poor Partio needs some additional assurance from Nagi, who was playing games nearby, that she doesn't need glasses all of a sudden. Poor girl's gonna need therapy at this rate...

As I said over in the tally thread: Oooooh, lucky. Elise and Aisha are the only two Sky Girls I need to complete my set. I don't know much about them either; I do know they're from an anime called, well, Sky Girls (and yes they were designed by the same guy who did Strike Witches and some Shinki), but other than that I have no clue what their personalities are like.

LOL at the last few pics with the two Renge, Gabrine, Partio and Nagi. xD
