My favorite matte top coat is still Mr. Super Clear Flat, but it can be harder to find these days.
I love the look of the decals on your girls, maybe when I get around to modding my Werkstra I'll have to find a fitting set for her too. =)

The description isn't very encouraging.royalpain88 wrote:Then here is an alternative. http://www.testors.com/product/0/2736/_ ... oz._Bottle
Re: Pauldy's Fixed-Wing Shinkis
A resin topcoat isn't the best idea anyways because it will yellow. All plastics yellow in time but resin is pretty notorious for it. Not worth it.

Should of kept your Shinkis. Asuka looks alright with the darkened mouth, nothing that would of made you dislike her. Ah well, what is done is done. Nice shots though.

Responded to your PM, but will post here as well:
Ah, did not think to check back on the discussion =)
I've used Mr.Super Clear on Pinky:St, Busou Shinki and several resin BJDs. It plays nice with all plastics as long as you shake the can very well before hand (like all sprays it might become gummy if you don't shake it well at first). You can barely tell it is there.
I found the easiest way to remove it is use Windsor and Newton's Brush cleaner as the cleaner is very gentle and does not eat away plastic (which is important given the cost of the dolls I use it on. I've soaked both pinky:st parts (think the equivalent to most shinki hairs) and polyurethane resin in it for hours without damage to the parts. It WILL remove any paint though, so removing the decal off of a painted piece will probably strip the paint as well. If you're using it on dyed plastics like most shinki armor you shouldn't have a problem.
It might yellow a bit over time, but not as fast as other sealants I've used have. Other than that I've heard Volks Finishing Powder and Tamiya Flat are also good sealants, but I've never used them.
