Nice. I'm planning on getting a Yoko to play around with too when I can. I like your individualization with the characters. And upside down boot piece leg warmer idea is pretty cool. I just love Yoko's scarf.. Don't ask me why,...just love it.

Wow Mako and Nami are very cool. I like that custom bike and also option like cape and gun too.

I want new bike for my girl too, but I can't choose one from my wanting list to custom.

After finishing 4 Girls Und Panzer models (Panzer IV, 38(t), Type 89 and StuG III), I went through a bit of withdrawal.

Mako became the victim. New hair color, a borrowed Otsugata Tokuzantou from Guren Type 2, and her very own double laser blade. Not a drastic change, but it helped me get past the "not currently building/painting anything" phase.

The laser blade was just two beam sabers (stolen from my currently MIA Robot Spirits Unicorn Gundam) glued together and the handle was spraypainted with Mr. Color German Gray (which is more black than gray, IMO). The hair was done manually with acrylic model paint then subdued with matte topcoat spray.

Nami saw what I did to Mako and wanted in on the minor makeover bandwagon. However, she requested a more fiery color.

Also gave her a simple gimmick for the missile launchers.

Yeah, Nami's even more hotheaded than Harumi. Thank goodness Mako's the more level-headed of the three.

Tried recoloring the Yoko ponytail and filing the peg so it'll fit.

Result? This.

Now Mako's looking more ninja-ish. Too bad I don't have another one, the second (dirt cheap) Yoko set I got was missing that and a few other parts.

Thanks. It was actually the first time I did something like that. Until then it's just been paints, body swaps and other elementary procedures.

Anyway, finalized Mako's look. The scarf from the Blues/Protoman model kit helped immensely.

Meanwhile, a certain hotheaded gunner pilfered one of my battle damage experiments...

Minor update. Preparing to move so the room is in a bit of clutter. Pardon the censor bar, didn't want to get into any issues here as well as with Photobucket.

Though Mako's weapon of choice is the Beam Naginata, she shows a couple of impudent sparring partners that Miku's preferred accessory can work just as well, if not better.
