I think I'm immune. Or just a very discerning buyer. Or just cheap.

Re: higurashi9's first shinki!
I know how you feel. I would love to get a YDA, but I'm too cheap to spend an extra 30 bucks. I think I'm going to get the upcoming bikers though.... I actually got Maochao and Howling for quite a deal, two for the price of one! With ten bucks priority shipping to boot. Mary and proxy on the other hand..... Over 100 bucks, and that was with Amiami's 24%off discount.
You really should look an Amiami, they have good discounts on a lot of shinkis. Also, although you rarely get anything good out of it, eBay is a great place to check regularly, that's where I got Maochao and Howling. Just remember, ALWAYS look at the shipping estimate. There are people on ebay who try to scam people by selling something for ten bucks with $150 shipping. I love the option to sort items by price+shipping. Additionally, this forum itself has users who are willing to sell their shinki, so you should check the buy/trade section, you might find some pretty good deals.
Lastly, don't forget to look at other peoples threads! I haven't seen any posts by you outside this one yet! There are a lot of great photographers around here, and a lot of the photocomics are really good, even if they tend to have a habit of dying off....
Edit: Just saw your location Except it's Gensokyo, not Gensyoko. Aaaand I just saw you got your shinki from Amiami anyways and feel like an idiot.
