Re: Rubix's Shinki collection/reviews
New picture dump! These pictures were taken on multiple days, so I'll explain what's happening in each.
Saturday Morning- My mother and her fiance had an engagement party, and we were finalizing preparations for it (I.E. cooking for food):
I also introduced my stepgrandmother (Grandmother by marriage? I don't know the terminology) to Kohiru:
Saturday afternoon-I took my Munchkins (Maryceles, Kohiru, and Strengh) outside when the party began to wind down.
Sure enough, they go for the sweets:
There was also a DJ at the party, so the girls wanted to dance:
Everything went well until Mary started breakdancing, and...well...
Word of advice: Tentacle skirt+Headspin=Maryceles spinning out of control like an eldritch top, bouncing off of everything and knocking everything over.
Monday morning-We still had some of the food left over from the party. And of course, guess who got their hands on it:
Later, I decided to play another round of "annoy the family with my figure collection" with my stepbrother and Juvisy. He never noticed her:
Today- Nothing interesting happened today, so here are some bonus pics:

And the pushing and the pulling and the dragging and the fighting. Really, she's the muscle of the group.Adventwings wrote: Poor Strength, left to do all the heavy lifting.
Some new Shinki pics!
Baby Razz discovers Ievan Polkka:
A new weapon mode for Razz's bass Guitar:
The Munchkins hang out by the pool (Okay, it's technically a jacuzzi):
...Along with Baby Razz and her guardsmen:
If anyone's interested, here's couple more shots of Mary's chair:
And finally, here's a shot of Razz and her posse:
Also, two bonus pictures. First, here's a picture from Saturday. We had a terrible thunderstorm, and the lights went out for half an hour. Naturally, Kohiru and Mary were terrified, and needed to be comforted:
Also, I have recently discovered a posing/3d animation program called MikuMikuDance (I'm sure some of you have heard of it. Through the power of rendering and photoshop. I give you:

Re: Rubix's Shinki collection/reviews
So, I found a new accessory for Welkstra (BTW, I'm sorry if some of these images are sideways):
"Say cheese, Owner."
Also, if one of you recognizes the cell phone, could you tell me if it's supposed to be a Power Rangers morpher? Because it kind of reminds me of the cell phone morphers sometimes used in some series, and if it isn't, I'm going to feel silly for taking these next pictures:
"Ready!"
"Angel Commando..."
"HENSHIN!"

unless I'm wrong it's the Accellular from GoGo Sentai Boukenger/whatever it's called in Power Rangers Operation Overdrive.

Re: Rubix's Shinki collection/reviews
NINJA SHINKI GET!
And she's already scoping out the denizens of the house:
But enough about future victims. On to the Shinki herself.
She's pretty neat, but I think the sneakers clash with Fubuki's base design. They just look a little too mechanized.
Also, she's cute when she's smiling, which is true for pretty much all Shinkis.
Armored mode is nice-looking, too. I admit to preferring the original Fubiki's Tengu-esque look, but I like the mecha style. It actually reminds me of Welkstra's armor a bit. The robotic fox ears were a neat touch, too, and the wings/blades on her back remind me of kitsune tails (Though the fact that she only has six of them makes me think that, compared to Renge, Fubuki has weaker base stats).
Weapon-wise, she's pretty well armed, with knives, shurikens, a sword, and this weird chainsaw thing that kind of looks like a Ratchet and Clank weapon. I think it's kind of a wierd weapon for a stealth-based warrior to have, but whatever.
In addition, Fubuki's armor can configure into different weapons, including this brass knuckle-looking thing, and a giant shuriken (I'm pretty sure that has an official name, but for now I'm calling it Four Tails of Pain).
Fubiki with her Mizugumo on, ready to take her enemies on in the wetlands.
And of course, the best Shinki accessory of all...
NINJA ROLLERBLADES!!
Again, this doesn't seem very ninja-ish, but that could be forgiven since
-A: they're awesome;
-B: Fubuki could concievably use it to move around quickly; and
-C: I watch an internet review show featuring a Ninja-Style Dancer, but what do I know.
And the best part? With the figures I have now, I could set up my own fantasy Roller Derby Team!

Congrats on getting fubuki, she's awesome!
One thing that i noticed is that pretty much ALL fubuki/misuki boxes show the shinki looking at her right.... I wonder why...

I don't think either of my ninja girls had that looking down issue, mine came look right ahead, but that may also be shipping issues where the package got bumped and the head moved slightly
