Shizen22's Shinkis
I'll post some of my photos from tfw2005. I hope to post more later as I take more pictures.
My first and all-time favorite, Bright Feather. The reasons I like her are many. Her design, her color, she's a nurse, wears glasses, has a real chest (compared to the loli-chests most other Shinkis have), the Great Syringe Of Doom, etc.
Maochao. By far my favorite of the early waves. She's the only early wave Shinki whose armor I can put on without throwing a fit.
Merienda. You can't say no to maids.
Random night time tea party pic.
Benio. I hate her armor. Most of it is boxed back up.
Yda. I'm still split on her. I'm not too big on her armor/trike but at least she's got a mean sword.
Duel?
Random skirt weaking Asuka dancing through.
Asuka. Standard mecha-musume style ftw!
My latest taken today. Juvisy. Another disappointment where armor is concerned. Fortunately Schmetterling's isn't as bad so temporary substitute! Those panties though...they are definitely for the perverts out there.

I gotta agree with you on the issue of Mao's armor. It looks so tricky at first but it's never a challenge to put on. Compared to say, Arnval's plates, which refuse to stay on for me. I just love Yda's trike though. Oh well.
Also, did Benio's armor break on you too? Mine fell apart when I put it on.

Re: Shizen22's Shinkis
Nothing's broken but Benio's armor pretty much falls apart by itself at the waist armor due to a combination of the connecting parts being too tight at the deep end and too loose at the shallow end. And then there's the shoulder armors which simply push each other off of the figure due to bad design. The only Shinki part to have broken off on me so far is Yda's dummy plug and that broke off at a certain peg that doesn't seriously affect the figure & armor so far.Vishvarupa wrote:I gotta agree with you on the issue of Mao's armor. From a visual perspective, Yda's armor is nice but from a playing standpoint, putting Yda into the trike mode and posing her around in armor mode is a huge pain for me.

Thanks. I'm good at concepts but I'm lousy at making a good story. If I think of something that might even be half amusing, I'll give it a shot.Benio wrote:you should do a photocomic of Harmony on the bike.

(Copy & Pasted from TFW2005)
I found a couple more Shinki rides. Also my first pic with speech bubbles. Click the pics for bigger ones.
First is the Lego Technic Go-Kart.
Grace trying for a more friendly look after her spin on the DOOM CYCLE.
Bright Feather and her great words of wisdom. Speaking of which, I'm starting to see stress fractures in her glasses. Wonder if anyone have any ideas on suitable replacements...
I got Partio & Pommock as well as an Ex:ride that was supposed to be used for my BRS figma. The problem is my BRS hasn't arrived yet. So guess who's taking the cycle out for a spin?
PS: It was a huge pain trying to fit Harmony into that Go-Kart. I had to cheat by dislocating the sides of the seat. Shinki & Lego are not meant to be mixed.

I love the rides! Harmony in the go-kart is just an all around great shot.

Re: Shizen22's Shinkis
Thanks. I've been on a roll lately as far as finding rides but I think that luck's finally running out. Fun while it lasted though.
