Werkstra's New Boosters
Test Start: Werkstra Booster Jets, Code Name: Vilantor Gear
<Werkstra>"We...we are going to change the name after they're finished, sir?"
Maybe. Please turn for side view
<Werkstra>"Yes, sir*mumbles something about unimaginative engineers*"
*ignores comment, save to write something on a clipboard*Alright, testing 10% boosted flight...now
<Werkstra>"Test height achieved in .0001 seconds, last recorded achievement was .02."
Very nice...200 times the speed of the last...No ill effect on the pilot, I hope.
<Werkstra>"Negative, sir, other than my knife slipping. You really should look into fi-"
Very good, Werkstra, please test Vilantor Enforcement deployment, then we'll call it quits for today.
<Werkstra>"*mumbles something about unimaginative, LAZY engineers, then assumes a pose to brace herself*VILANTOR GEAR DEPLOY: CODE ENFORCEMENT."
VERY good. We won't test armament today, you can come down now.
<Werkstra>"Sir, that activation code is far too long, I really must prote-"
You can come down now, Werkstra, we'rd done for the day.
<Werkstra>"...*fires endless barrage from Vilantor Gear*"
-END(should probably listen to people when they're talking, especially when they're wielding weapons of unknown destructive capabilities<_<; )-
Anyways, silliness aside, Bakugan has yielded some interesting things over the time it's been out, and one of the newest gimmicks they're using is called Battle Gear, basically powerups for the normal Bakugan. Now the interesting part of this is that these two Battle Gear(Both Vilantor Gears) are completely UNMODDED at the moment. That's right, these monstrous turbine weapons are capable of connecting to shinki pegs with no work(I did cut Werk's bending joint pieces from the spare joint sprues, but that's hardly what I'd consider work ). But yeah, I'm quite happy with these and I still have a few other Bakugan that I want to try using with shinki, but that's for another day. So what do you think?

I do plan to repaint them, and unfortunately this is the only color they come in currently. As to price...about 7.50USD before taxes at Wal Mart.Caterwaul wrote:...Are you going to repaint those? They...kinda clash.

The funny thing of it is, they WERE promo-arted in silver...but then, I've seen something about Electronic Battle Gear, so maybe it's related to that.Benio wrote:those look really cool. If they come out in white I'm definitely picking up a set...

Re: Werkstra's New Boosters
Here is a list of all Bakugan Battle Gear to date, including some that aren't quite in the market yet. I'm quite looking forwards to grabbing a Chompixx for my Graf, two Zukanators for my Tigris or Ach, and, most of all, a Boomixx for my Bragg if not for a few others XD;

Re: Werkstra's New Boosters
Do you have any idea if any of the others will work unmodded?

Re: Werkstra's New Boosters
All Battle Gears will have peg holes that match the size of the standard shinki peg. Every other form of Bakugan(regular, special attack, traps) will require some form of modification(either of the Bakugan which are unfriendly to mod treatments or to shinki, which were made to be modded). However, since all normal and special attack Bakugan are sphereform when closed, that means you only have to look for ones that have an interesting open form and otherwise stick to traps(I'd suggest a Baliton or a Hexstar for a living mace, I need to work on mine) or Battle Gear for your shinki.OHWceta wrote:Do you have any idea if any of the others will work unmodded?
