All this time, I've yet to open Graffias so I thought I'd get her out of the box before working on the new arrivals.





I also had a couple new costumes to try out.





The cheongsam was for Graffias. Unfortunately, it wasn't a good fit as I couldn't close it completely in the back. Using Graffias' smaller chest piece didn't help either not to mention it doesn't look as...filling. :p

I have to say I love her high heels. Speaking of which, I don't know how I got her to stand in that pose. I'm guessing she liked the costume and decided to humor me because afterwards I tried to get her to stand in a similar pose without the costume and couldn't get her to stand at all.

Okay, so far I've opened the sword and Raptias.


The sword unassembled.


Instruction sheet.


Completed sword. If you want to paint it, disassemble it first. I'm too lazy to paint. :p

The most pain in the arse part for me. This gun is a crappy design and is a huge pain to put on. It's bad enough that it's a pain to put the hand on the grip but then there's the additional pain of the wrist connector. It's enough to make me want to throw the gun against the wall.


Raptias feeding off my anger. Raptias gets some serious height due to the way her backpack connects to her stand.


I'll do some better poses when I'm in a better mood.

Next is Artille!

Finally opened up Artille and Renge.



Even without Raptias' red face, you can tell Artille is the perky cheerful one and Raptias is the shy one. The modular nature of their backpack offers possibilities but unfortunately, I'm not creative enough to really take advantage of it. If I had the chance to repeat the decision, I'd likely have passed them but now that I do have them, I do like Artille enough to keep her, Raptias not so much. I'll hold onto her to see if she grows on me. :p

BTW, Renge is LOVE.



My version of Renge's hipshaker attack in Battle Masters.

Renge has non of Gabrine's problems including the ankle problem. It feels so refreshing to be able to move Renge's foot without any worry whatsoever.

I still like Gabrine though.

I was taking a few pictures outside and decided to take a few of Artille and Raptias hugging together but while setting up their pose, it somehow went from an innocent hug into the pose below.





This was the original idea.




Is it just me or do the recent wavemates seem particularly close to each other?

I later noticed Artille's chest piece came loose while setting up the last two photos so here's another two for those who demand chest perfection! :p
