Re: ZeroEdge's Stuff: ZE's Pad
ZE's Pad, formerly known as Shinki Shelf, is basically complete!
If you all remember, my old Shinki Shelf is patterned on a traditional Japanese home, but now as more figures moved in (and with plenty more to follow), I thought I should redesign it to be more of an entertainment and gaming spot for everyone to relax in. Everything (and I mean EVERYTHING) here is scratch-built from paper and cardboard and bits of clear plastic (except for the figures, duh!). So here are the latest pics...

When I said basically complete, I was talking about the room's basic design and furnishings. I can still add and move things around when I feel like it, though I know that there are a lot more stuff I can add to make it better. So I can say I'm done for now.

Up next, I'm buying a new display cabinet to relocate my papercraft (they're all too crowded in that one shelf already). Once that is done, my next project will be turning the top shelf into a concert stage, so wish me luck with that!
Note to self: Get some shelf lighting stuff...

I do not know what to say, except that I'm very impressed.
...And I think you gave many people around here ideas to tinker around with papercraft.

With the Vic Viper girls out, you REALLY need a Gradius machine in there, somewhere
I'm sure Strarf and Arnval wouldnt mind an Otomedius one either, if it exists in 1:12 scale.

I wish I had that kind of set-building ability. It would make my comic SO much easier.

Here's a project that's been long overdue...
Kei's custom armor is pretty worn out, not to mention that her leg armor isn't really that articulate (FG or First Grade 1/144 Blitz Gundam, the non-poseable one), and after browsing through fg-site, I got the idea of using 1/144 Gundam Age-1 Spallow (Spallow...heh) parts for her.

It actually fits her so well that Spallow might have been built just for her! I've also seen mods using Titus parts for a Lancamento, but not for my Rui... she won't be able to properly grip her favorite guns with those large arms...
