Something came in the post today that people were discussing a while back, so I thought I'd share:


Christmas came early for Howling it seems!


Yep, she definitely likes the new guns! What do you mean "They look a bit big"? They look badass to me...


Hm...? What's wrong Howling? What's suddenly gotten your attention?


Ahh, those... What? You want me to build them? Okay...


There you go... Set up for left and right shoulder mounting as well!


Can you have them? Uhh... Sure I guess, but they wont fit on your armour... What do you mean "We shall see!"? I don't how you said that Howling...


A view of what you get in the set: 1x revolver handgun (GAN01-SS-WH.E) 1x shoulder mounted cannon (061ANSC) + an extra arm for said cannon to allow mounting on either shoulder.


And finally, a quick (blurry) size comparison to some actual Shinki handguns. (Arnval, Werkestra and Waffebunnys to be precise)

When I get some more colours, I'll be giving these guns a lick of paint to bring out more of the details better. They are very nicely detailed.

My Murmeltier turned up today! So, I decided to have a play with her...


Oh dear, it seems she's not happy with me and the state of my room...


"Wh... What is this dust-ridden... THING you've stood me on!?" It's... My laptop... Yeah, it is a little dusty...


"A DELL!? You dare stand me on a DELL!? Does your ignorance know no bounds!?" Uhmm... Well... It wasn't me choice... "Silence! You have no excuse!"


I tried putting her armour on her, but she just crossed her arms... yeah... all 4 of them...


There you go Waffebunny, how does it feel to finally have a body? "VAT IS THE MEANING OF THIS!?"


"VAT IS THIS GIRL DOING VEARING MEIN CLOTHES!? THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!" Uh... Mur....


"UND YOU!" Wait Murmeltier! Just look at this...


See? "Hmm... it vould seem you are not as disappointing as I first thought... Very vell... I shall call a truce between us..."


"AS FOR YOU! Your name is WaffeBunny, yes? Nice name... Und since you are vearing my uniform, I shall accept you as mein second in command, with me as your superior!"

Mur: "I svear... I look away for just 5 minuets und this happens..."


Howling: *Puffs chest proudly*


Mur: "YOU! Are you responsible for this!?"
Howling: *sees gun* "!"


Mur: "I like your handiverk... You shall be my head technician!"
Howling: "...?"

Admittedly I could have gotten away with just using parts from the Murmeltier sets, but using those white parts like that had a much sturdier result.

I got mine from HLJ... Who have marked this particular set (weapon set 15) as 'Discontinued' and out of stock...
I don't know where else might stock them or what their availability is like, but I do know HLJ do still have a number of the other packs still in stock if you're still interested.

A package arrived for me today! :3


Only thing is, when I went to open it, I heard some noises coming from inside it...
And suddenly this thing stabbed out through the top! D8


Slowly, whatever it was managed to carve along the top of the box...


.... but they forgot to get the sides as well...
I think I heard something along the lines of 'just blast it open' so I decided to give them a little help!


As soon as I managed to get the sides unstuck for them, these two started clambering out...
So I decided to help them again.

Uh... Ok, well... Care to introduce yourselves?
<Blue> "Oh! Right! I'm Raptias, and this is Artille... Would you mind turning the flash off please? It's kinda bright..."

Dont worry, her 'army' currently consists of 3 people including herself...
And I dont think the other two have actually agreed to be part of it anyway...
She's harmless... Mostly... Just a little eccentric...

At this point I went off to make myself a quick brew while they got ready....
And when I came back, I found Raptias flying right at me! D8


Artille was also happily taking aim at me from my desk... o.O

Rephin actually pointed this out to me; since the Light Armour Shinki stands use the standard pegs between the sections of the stand, you can plug them into Artille's gun, and they look sort of like a black silencer for her.
Not only that, but the diameter of the stand sections match up to the round section of her gun as well! It's kind weird how well they do.
