How to link to images on Flickr?

Hello, not a problem but a question. I'm very new to digital photography and online photo sharing. Is there a way to link to a Flickr photo in a post so that the image appears at the appropriate size even if the original image is larger?

I recently created a Flickr account, and most of my photos are large. Is there something I can enter when I'm writing a post that will show the image at a reasonable size for the blog, say 600x800px? All I can figure out from Flickr is how to get the link to the photo, but if I enter that in my post, all that appears is just that; the link, not the image.

I'd really appreciate any advice!

RIGHTthen!

select the desired picture back on flickr, go to "share" option (shown above the picture) and choose "Grab the HTML/BBCode"
pick size of pic ,and the "bbcode" option. Copy the code there n' post it 'ere- n'post.

Tempesta = Catalan for storm.
Storm = heavy rain.
Chocolate Tempesta = Chocolate Rain.
