My Type-Firearms has gone crazy and is punching enemies with her bare hands instead of shooting at them. I blame this on my Japanese being even worse than I first believed, and therefore almost never complimenting her.
So, I'd like to request a list of the various things you can say to your shinki after battle, and notes on which ones are praising or scolding to her. Also, I'm aware that certain things, like "Subarashii batoru datta," are praising when your shinki wins and scolding when she loses, so please mention if the response is win/loss sensitive.

Re: Praising/scolding shinki
Just because she loses hearts doesn't mean you are scolding her. Like saying she did wonderful when she lost.... she thinks you're making fun of her and is unhappy. Scolding will actually cause her to change her tactics, and it is possible to scold her with9otu her losing hearts, if handled correctly. Generally you are able to scold without upsetting her during a tie, or if she just barely lost. if she was utterly defeated, then she probably needs whatever kind of comforting best suits her personality. (Some shinki WANT to be scolded in this situation, IIRC, as that is their personality.)
Anyhow, checking my incomplete and unpublished FAQ I paused working on, I only have this translated so far:
次はもう少し頑張ろうな
tsugi wa mou sukoshi ganbarouna
Next time use a little more effort
言わなきゃわからないのか!
お疲れ様、悪くはない結果だ
Thank you for your hard work, the result wasn't bad.
Tangowr's FAQ on GameFAQs, while a bit dated now, does provide some sort of translations of the things you can say after battle. There not as accurate as I'd like though, as English isn't the FAQ writer's first language. Still it helped me out when I was first starting. http://www.gamefaqs.com/computer/doswin ... 9433/48594
Also keep keep AI degradation from training in mind. If you are training accuracy, for example, your Shinki's accuracy will be degraded for the next couple official battles. You don't see this, it is hidden. Generally 2 training sessions takes 1 official battle to reverse. Degradation tops out at -10 units, taking 5 official battles to get back up to full effect. IIRC, that is.

Re: Praising/scolding shinki
The Battle Rondo wiki actually has a list of each shinki's responses and how it effects their affection ratings.
http://www33.atwiki.jp/2chbattlerondo/pages/81.html
It's in Japanese, so you're going to need a translator program, but if you REALLY need to get their affection up, the info's there.
