MMS 75-Iron Man Mark III/Tony Stark
Ah, the plight of Iron Man/Tony Stark. I placed my pre-order for one back in October 2008. However Hot Toys kept delaying the release (rumor was quality control issues). Finally they hit stores in Japan late January 2009. US retailers are still waiting to receive their shipments though (latest date I saw was May). Through a stroke of good luck, I snatched mine off Ebay and he's been worth every single penny. In my (uh hum, very biased) opinion, by far the coolest figure in my collection.

MMS 71 - Batman The Dark Knight Version
Comparison shot with Iron Man/Tony Stark figure
My other favorite superhero. I splurged when I found him for a good price. Not quite as aesthetically pleasing or functional as Iron Man/Tony Stark, still a nice figure that I'm happy about owning.

Hot Toys always does bang-up work. Just make sure Batman's Balemaster head doesn't cross-pollinate with your Shinkis. Heck, the main reason I'm into Shinkis is because they're cheaper and easier to play with than the 1/6th figures I've got.

No worries. The girls won't be using obscene language anytime soon. Besides, they've been hanging around Tony enough that they know how to handle these guys.Jorg Lieberstesh wrote:Just make sure Batman's Balemaster head doesn't cross-pollinate with your Shinkis.

Not my favorite Batman suit interpretation, but at least it doesnt have bat nipples on it.
Mmm. Shiny Iron Man.

Very true. While I'm not in love with it, I do like the fact its more streamline than the Begins suit.Caterwaul wrote:Not my favorite Batman suit interpretation, but at least it doesnt have bat nipples on it.
I would have ruled the world if I wasn't distracted by something shiny.Mmm. Shiny Iron Man.

Rumor has it the prototype for mark 3 was made in a cave, out of a box of scraps.
